In a year like this Italy never could present the usual ballad. We love diversity and we are bored, scared, sad and furious for what we all went through so this is a good representation of a national feeling

Thank you, but to make it clear, Sanremo is not national final ESC. None of the italian singers think of ESC when presenting their songs to Sanremo. ESC comes after, if they choose to take part in it or not. In case of refusal it's up to RAI to choose among the songs the entry for ESC. So, ok you do not like rock and it's your taste. Yes, that's right, I know that the option for singers to take part in ESC comes after they win Sanremo. I watch Sanremo every year and enjoy it, and Italian music in general! Thank you for your comment....greetings! 😀
