Remember when driving main roads was like driving TET. Remember in the late seventies, I wasn't even seventeen years old, but I was allowed to practice driving a car. Was on holiday with my parents and I drove all the way, also abroad. Then we came to Strynefjellsvegen in Western Norway (700 meters down in a few km). (Parts of the old road still exist.) A really old and narrow serpentine road. What an experience for a young driver. Down in the valley, I remember not being able to keep up with the school bus. Didn't have the nerve to drive as fast as that on the narrow, winding roads. Half of it was also a dirt road, and today there are almost no such roads left. Everything straightened up and tunnels here and there. The only one left is TET, but if you look, there are still exciting stretches of road, even if the locals are clamoring for them to be improved. Impressed by those who drive buses and trailers on those roads. When they meet another large vehicle, down with the window, in with the mirror, salute, and out with the mirror again and up with the window and all at speed with millimeter precision. On the right side, 700 meters of rock wall straight up, and 200 meters straight down on the left side.

Wow Nemo! I am finally catching up to your latest episode, as I was doing the Norwegian (southern) TET last week. Some amazing mountain pass and views by the the way. Had beautiful weather all week. Looks like you were having a blast and some hard days! I can’t understand how you are able to drive all day and then edit videos after that. Truly amazing how you do it. It is a lot of work, and really time consuming. My hats off for you. Keep driving safe and remember to take the time to enjoy it as well. Take a day off if you can. As always, looking forward to the next😀

Hey- glad to hear you enjoyed your trip and getting good weather! You a rewarded :) After this trip, I will tell everyone that editing videos every evening is the hardest thing I could do on my trip. Even Ivlove doing it, but sometimes... well part of adventure I guess :D

The via del salle is quite easy and absolutely amazing. The route to ventimiglia is relatively doable as wel. I found the French tet pretty tough, but that was on a 1200gs. Maybe switch over to the ACT to cross the Pyrenees. I think you can make good progress that way and stil have some adventurous paths.

Hey, Jasper, I think that my dream is going to stay as a dream forever. There is no chance I can do the rest of the remaining distance to Portugal via any dirt roads, Today I bearly managed 150 kilometers :D I overestimated, the TET roads in Hungary, Italy, and even Lithuania with all the broken trees took longer than I thought. Plus filming and editing. It takes from my riding at least 3 -4 hours a day. Well, I will still push towards the west, but now- just as far as I can reach, and then I am turning up north. Thanks for the support throughout this series!
