The AGV is the most stunning high-speed train ever made, but terribly underappreciated!

People are afraid to travel on speed trains, if they crash so it will be the same as with airplanes, most people die :(

4:22 funny typo, Turin is Torino in Italian, Tornio is a town in Finland
@Hastdupech8509 Жыл бұрын
Tornio also means pottery wheel in Italy, cognate of the verb "torcere", to twist, to wring

Italy’s very own bullet train just like the Shinkansen bullet train in Japan. Very nice trains these are in Italy. Even the station itself is massive and beautiful.

Love your videos, another great one! A small suggestion for the toilet review: adding some info on whether there are accessible restrooms and diaper-changing facilities. This might be interesting to a few people, including me, as I’ve come to appreciate it when toilets are equipped with a changing table for babies. Keep up your great work!

Italo has also "Smart Cinema" class. It is basically a standard smart class (second class) but with large screens as in a cinema.

Nice video! Italian fares are very low for Western European standards, and Italo is definitely the cheaper one if compared to Trenitalia. Thanks to its offers and sales I was able to purchase a ticket from Bologna to Scalea, in Calabria, at just 32€, 1 week in advance. 800 km, nearly 6h of ride 4.5 of which were on HS tracks, from city center to town center. Definitely super convenient. P.S.: Idk probably it was irony, but just in case, Starbucks isn't Italian

Rode one of Italo's trains from Florence to Bologna on my august holiday in Italy, though it was probably a different model(only peaked at 240kmh iirc). Because of some traffic congestion we were delayed for an hour and 40 minutes on a trip that was supposed to take less than an hour, which resulted in us barely making it on our flight(I'm talking running through the airport and getting to the gate minutes before closure kind of barely). I did like the train tho, so I still think fondly about that trip today

They bought some "New Pendolino" trains afther the AGV, interestingly without the tilting option.
