It’s tough because he could successfully make the case that who paid for this war was the western countries dependent on Russians oil and gas, and they are cutting ties now? Only so far as it’s possible, they are still taking advantage of their situation, this is why you can’t frame this on morality and good vs evil, it’s power, to the west it’s ideal that this conflict continues, so they can keep Russia busy with Ukraine and the west can focus on China. I’m not saying you don’t care about lives I’m just saying which lives they taught you to care for.

@@thebolt9546 the majority of f1 drivers come with backing from a racing academy, there are only a few that are considered paid seat drivers because the sponsor they have brings in alot of cash, or they have a rich legacy like max's mom was a racer so was his dad. but i see your point the entire motorsport is rigged for rich people to advance in series... that's why lewis hamilton sticks out the most for people cause his dad had to work many jobs to get his son just a seat in karting series and he had to even self promote himself at a young age to be introduce to some guy from mclaren to be in the young drivers programme.

I am, as a longtime F1 fan from the UK, 100% in sympathy with Mazepin here. Sportsmen from MY country were not put under such a spotlight when we invaded Iraq without UN mandate. Sport SHOULD be neutral. It is above all this. Otherwise Jesse Owens means nothing. Right?

He danced around every question. As far as his return to F1 if you look at his record when he was driving for HAAS he rarely made it past the first few laps of most races, he shunted 5-6 cars and his only claim to fame was his choice of rain tires during the Russian Grand Prix which allowed him to unlap himself and beat 2 drivers to the checkered flag. So I don’t think that he will be driving an F1 car at all again unless daddy buys him another team which won’t happen for a few years.for

It's a shame he lost his seat due to the on-going war but let's be honest, if it wasn't for the money his Father brought in; he would no way shape or form would he truly make it to F1 on his own and sure, there are other "paid" drivers, but those guys are middle of pack at the very least meanwhile he dragged their team to the lowest it's been with how much of spoiled rich brat he was which was made clear by how he outbursts in F1, getting angry and letting his emotions control his actions which has ZERO place in the field of F1 where even minor mistakes can cause life or death situations, Certainly not a place to throw temper tantrums.
