@@sol_4real I absolutely love mine. What a difference it was from my very old projector!!! The image is super clear and crisp. Only trouble for connecting the PS5 and my movie theater sound system. Took me a few minutes to find a way, but took a few deep breath and boom I figure it out. I unfortunately, I cannot vouched for the TV dongle, since I do not use it. Other than that, it is an excellent piece of technology. Remind you though that this is a short throw, and it can be very tricky to fit the size of display you want (that was my biggest frustration with the product). Let me know if you get it, and how you are enjoying your new toy :)

@@AngelOfGrace sorry to jump in the conversation but I'm just curious what the running noise level is like of the projector? while watching movies , quiet scenes etc? Thought it's a valid question as for most people the projector is going to be quite close to their seating position. What does the short throw problem cause? Thanks in advance

@@ThePaulg123 My projector is right behind me (middle of the coach) sitting on a low shelf. The noise is really low, and does not in any case bother me while watching movies. I am 100% satisfied with it. I would say go for it.

This looks like such a fantastic "bit of everything projector" (4K, HDR, great for gaming), but no ARC or eARC at all? Not even freaking optical out? Man that's a huge bummer.

It's really not. If you're worried about your audio you a few options. A true AVR stereo that has two HDMI ports or a soundbar with two HDMI ports. You can run one HDMI cable from your audio source and the other end to your projector.

I love this projector. I'm trying to decide between the x3000i and the tk700sti. The x3000i has slightly better colour accuracy but as i only have a small room the tk700sti will get me a bigger image. Both have 4k 60. My room is only 8 feet so I'm not sure i would get a very big screen with the x3000i. It's such a hard decision.

When it comes to projectors, you reall want to sit down and get the numbers right! Measure out the space, check projection distance calculators and see what throw distance works best for you, then check out what screens work for the space (unless you have a white wall!) and then choose based on that!

We used to all the time! The problem is that the prices would change after the video and people would view and judge it at that previous price so they wouldn't give it a chance. For example, we're about to release a video with a $100 controller, I just checked and it dropped down to $79 which COMPLETELY would of messed up anything I said at that price :O

Haven't tried that one out but for the most part, Optoma has a solid reputation albeit I heard that the 4k in that one is a bit odd due to the chip they use :O? I gotta get my hands on it though to make sure!

How’s it work for movies? Heard it’s got bad color reproduction

It wouldn't be my first choice for movies but from what we've watched on it, it's much better than expected for a DLP projector! The elevated black levels help a lot, especially in DVR and I played with the color correction to get as close a look as my OLED tv but if you're a stickler for the details, i'd suggest Project Centrals review, they cover a lottt of those details: www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-TK700STi-Review.htm

I have this projector, but i can't get it to go 1080 240hz... my max is 120hz at 1080p... I don't know if i am missing something here.

What do you have hooked up to it? PC? it should match up with the hardware automatically unless the settings on that hardware are below 240 hertz

I think it's because TV's are just getting a bit boring :O It's getting to the point where projectors can almost match specs with new TV's but they give you a larger screen, more versatility and they're also crowd pleasers! Playing on a massive screen in multiplayer is a blast and it makes it worth going over to someone's house to experience it :D

Hey Bo! Sadly, it can't :[ We tested the keystone before entering game mode so wasn't able to note it until after the fact. Apparently, the reason is because keystone adjustment can increase the input lag so they just disable it in that mode. I know each space is different, but i'd recommend avoiding keystone to get the best possible performance out of a projector like this!

@@999universe999 this unit doesn't even have vertical shift. It seems the newer projectors have gotten worse than the 1-3 year old projectors. After an extensive search I bought the optoma hd28hdr for $700. Looks like 4k is almost a hoax.

@@itcamefromabox yeah but how much does a lamp cost? I asked ben q the didn t gave me an answear. When you use the beamer 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I get the number 1920 per year so in 2 years you need to change. Of course there is a lamp safe mode with 15 k hours. but i like the beamer

@@thesecretagent3443 the average price is about $300 for a replacement bulb but as someone who has purchased extra bulbs in case of anything happening to the current one, I can tell you that at least in my case I've never had to replace a bulb in any of our projectors over the last 20 years :0 regardless if your fear is replacing the bulb towards the end of life of the first one, you're probably better off looking at laser projectors!

And gaming with fhd in 240 fps or 4k60 is awesome. And the price is very good. But sadly the beamer is sold out in my country.. But thanks for the response. You ve got a great channel
