My eyes began to go all soft and weepy at the half-hour mark. I have new granddaughters who will soon be taking swimming lessons. Maybe they'll run track, and I hope they get into great universities. But more than anything, I hope that someday soon they will know the Lord Jesus; and to that end I will pray and proclaim. Thank you, Mr. Begg.

"OUR heavenly Father desires TRUTH in the Inner self and that facing this TRUTH is the way of liberation" John 8 :32 (The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson) Thank You heavenly Father for letting me hear this TRUTH. I visited a United Church of Christ that is one block from my home one Sunday. The churches that I have attended all taught the Bible so I’m thinking this church is no different. I had my Bible with me because I still enjoy reading from a book vs an electronic device. I was greeted by a young man who informed me that their gathering would not be like their usual gathering but I was welcome to stay. He gave me a little history of their congregation and it appeared his mother played an important role. They had a Franciscan to lead them in worship. The service was way different than what I had ever been exposed to. The worship area was dark no light coming in through windows and the inside was not well lit. The Franciscans read a portion of scripture and proceeded to take the lesson 20 congregants into a guided imagery that made absolutely no sense. They sang a couple hymns,prayer request made known, communion and collection plate passed. The young man escorted me back to my car after the service. He left me with these words “I see you have one of those as he pointed to my Bible then said I have one too but I leave it at home on a night stand. You must be one of those fundamentalist.” I could not believe what I heard him say. I have relatives who with Church of Christ and they are big on knowing scripture. I had the two groups mixed up. I did my research and got educated. What’s heartbreaking now is the pollution that has seeped into mainstream denominations. They are no different than that little church I visited in their belief and practice. I stick to the teachers like Allister Begg and others like him who have held the line all these years

INDEED. Just repent in FULL & TRUE surrender to Jesus & they will ALL be GONE; washed white as snow & He will restore, refine & renew. Born again INDWELLING of THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL make the old into new. Transformed, a new creation IN Christ. It is a REAL encounter with Jesus to receive the Holy Spirit (as described in John 14 KJV; it happened to me, so I KNOW these promises of described function is TRUE & REAL). People of the world & our wicked flesh is full of untruths & evil. We are to identify them, LEARN & turn from those lies/practices. Not to wallow in it. Be encouraged. Jesus does not turn away the surrendered repentant ones. There's a HUGE difference in being "sorry" & being remorseful in FULL/TRUE repentant SURRENDER, causing us to yield from desiring/allowing to seek or repeat it & instead, to cry out to Jesus (He is knocking at the door). There is POWER waiting to be received from He who comes to INDWELL in those who are SURRENDERED to Jesus! He PAID it ALL! IT IS FINISHED!; BY HIS WOUNDS, WE ARE HEALED (JUST by choosing Him over the sin) & THEN, the change to be made fit for His Kingdom. All WILL see & many HATE His because they are not like them (of the world) & it causes conviction. There is NOTHING else. ETERNITY is the only outcome. Jesus OR sin. Heaven OR Hell. DON'T stop until He changes you! Inheritance is priceless. EVERYTHING else is distraction to deception & loss/death/Hell fire. He loves us!!! Seek Jesus & His righteousness & everything else will be added. AMEN! Blessings in Jesus!🙋 💔👣👣💝💖

Great sermon! However, what I don't understand is "Standing with Martin Luther"? (24.50 Time Stamp), instead of standing with the Apostolic Church Fathers teachings by Paul, Peter + 11 Apostles who founded Jesus' Church, which they taught the doctrine by Word of Mouth mainly and with the Old Testament scriptures, NOT with a New Testament Bible because it physically didn't exist till 300-400 years later as a canon. Choosing to stand with Martin Luther is literally 8:30-10:45 Time Stamp of this sermon. Ask yourself this question: “Did the Church come before the Bible or did the Bible come before the Church?”.
