Competing in a rally is impressive. Competing and recording your experience is more impressive. Competing, recording, and interrupting your progress to run gas to stranded bikes is truly great. Competing, recording, helping others, and doing it all on the smallest bike, and being a first timer... and being in first place is so incredibly unexpectedly amazing! Noraly, it seems you are only just beginning to realize how truly great you are. And every other rider is realizing that too. I am so enjoying watching to power through from one success to another. Those who haven’t been following Mlle. Itchy through changing tires in the wilds of South America, coping with bad fuel in one of the -stans in Asia, and picking Savannah up out of the mud may not be aware of what she’s done to work her way up to this race. I’m sure that one of the best ways to learn how to ride on soft sand is to enter a rally like Noraly has done… compared to how careful she was in Namibia, now she’s absolutely bossing the sand! :)🏍

I think it is harder to ride slowly in sand, you need to keep your momentum and be very smooth with the bike.

@@jtamsett The trick with riding in sand and on loose surfaces is to let the bike "dance" to its own tune as it will find its own way. Rigidly holding on to the handlebars and trying to control the bike leads to disaster and a fall.

Everyone else: "All this dust must be those 5 riders ahead of us"🙄 The five riders: "All this dust must be a local bus in front of us"🤔 Itchy Boots: "What dust?"🤨 As Noraly tears it up on the track, the dust rises behind her to cheer her on... Benefits to being first, besides the obvious, you ride alone with fewer obstacles, and you don't eat as much dust. Excellent job on the sand and on this planet. Grit, Fortitude, Compassion. Nice blend 🙂

I feel this race was manipulated in favour of those who knew where and how to get fuel so double props to you Nora in overcoming the fuel truck fiasco and riding like a woman possessed. My heart was in my mouth when you went through that thick sand at high speed. So proud of you.

Noraly, i really appreciate your compassion for others, your competitiveness and your joy in "simple" pleasures. I mean, going back to help ether riders who ran out of petrol, laughing with riders at petrol stations, and riding with wild horses. Your riding skills have grown by leaps and bounds.

How is it that the organization of the rally does not seem to be concerned about the poor management of the refueling? Bravo Noraly for your subjective shots, we think we're on your bike and we fully feel your competitiveness. These racing episodes are fascinating, well done.

Lol wouldn't be a race then if you didn't manage your own fuel and equipment. What you want them to do carry fuel for competitors? That's just strange you have to manage your own provisions food. Water. Etc if you get assistance you have to forfeit simple as otherwise its not fair on other race candidates

I realize it’s been a few years since this video was made, but I am really impressed with your humanity and empathy for your fellow human beings. Even though you are in a race and have the racing “bug”, it says a lot about your amazing character when you stop to check on other riders, bring gas, etc. Nothing is more important than the way we treat others and you are shining example of how a decent and caring person interacts with others with respect and compassion. You spread sparkle everywhere you go!
