ITCHY SCALP WITH A PROTECTIVE STYLE? Causes & Remedies!

This was such a great topic! A few weeks ago was my first time having a wig customize and fit to my head and sew down. It drove me crazy. Yeah I wore wigs but not sew down 😅 and when I tell you my head itches like crazy 😫 I was soooo irritated and my Fiancé was like why you keep patting your head like that! I wish I knew this before that instal because I wasted a hairstyle b/c I had to take that OUT! I will get braids next and follow your tips! All this time I been itching my scalp the wrong way 😩, making it worst! I’m so thankful for you!

Whewwww I can only imagine! The sown-down wigs barely give you access to your scalp so that must've been very uncomfortable. I honestly don't blame you for taking it out lol when I used to wear weaves with neating underneath, the only way I could get to my scalp for a scratch was with the tip of a rat tail comb 🤣 and LOL at your fiance wondering why you keep patting your head! It's foreign to some people haha but I'm glad you found these tips helpful, and I appreciate you sharing! xoxo
