Shopping in Cambodia isn't always so simple. After moving to Cambodia and finding an apartment, we had to buy a lot of things to make it a home. From furniture, to electronics, to household items, to clothes. The shopping streets in Cambodia are a cool way to find what you want. Looking for some wooden furniture? There's a street for that. Looking for electronics? Head to the street south of the National Olympic Stadium. There are some big box type stores in Cambodia, but they're few and far between, and you have to head up to the Sen Sok area to get to them. The Aeon Mall is a great option for one-stop shopping, but the real deals are found in the small shops, or online. Online shopping in Cambodia isn't as extensive as it is in other countries - Amazon and Taobao aren't popular - but there are apps that are exclusive to Cambodia, and their prices and delivery times are great.
Stay tuned to the end of the video to play "How Much Did That Stupid Thing Cost in Cambodia?" where I'll reveal the prices I paid for 25 items.

Great video. Some of the stuff, like the furniture, seemed a bit expensive. But then again I have a Cambodian g/f to do the haggling for me. Tourist visa's now available - flight booked for December. Can't wait to get back.

Hi Ryan, nice vid as always. Very useful tips as we just moved to Phnom Penh. We are running through all things you have been to, quarantine, hotel, apartment search. Looking your videos is like fast forward our live. I have to buy you gallon of beer. Where is actually the street with the small electronics shops? Cheers Jo

Really good pizza and burgers are out there, and of course I crave both of those regularly. Really good every kind of food. We had Ethiopian the other night. It's cheap and easy for foreigners to open restaurants, so there's a ton of good food. Mexican too, both TexMex and authentic Mexican.

Like us Australians when people talk about fall. First we have to convert that to autumn, then we have to work out which season it follows then convert to northern hemisphere seasons so as to approximate the three months being referenced. Why can't they just say September? 😀
