Thanks for your videos. I am able in my Samsung UN65H6300 to add the option for audio Bluetooth devices but can not find any devices at all. For all who do NOT see the BT audio option in the Audio menu after enabling the support in the Hidden Menu: not all Samsung series TVs have the BT hardware embedded, this depends on the series. While the firmware might show the option to enable it (the same firmware is often shared between many different models) it does not necessarily mean your model has it physically built in. If you enable BT support, turn off the TV and back on again and enter the hidden menu and do NOT see any BT hardware address (MAC) the hardware is not present on the TV. M series have BT hardware and you can enable it, K series do not (at least not the base models) for example.

hi; something is strange because i see that only the F series have this problem; if we want to have success we have to contact all, Samsung and make pressure with messages; something is wrong not letting the F series users to enjoy they er TV's. Hello I've watched both your videos which were really useful and tried to offer a great tip. Unfortunately, after wading through both the options of secret menu, it turns out the service is available only for Samsung headphones and not others. The relevant window explicitly asks for this. I think this was a selfish attempt by the Samsung to limit the interface to their devices only. Cheers.

Hi Many thanks for this amazing workaround, but sadly not working on my tv (UE55F8000 about 2-3 years old) Both menu items show BT on - and a third one under Debug is also on. The Support page shows a bluetooth MAC address and I normally use a Samsung sound bar via, I think BT, or would that be SoundShare?. Either way my new Sony MDR-ZX770 phones won't pair. Maybe older sets didn't allow pairing unless Samsung Airtrack or whatever their own system is? Any comment appreciated.

Thank you for the useful video. I too have an F series Samsung TV (UE46F6670) which is on the latest firmware. I went through the process of enabling the BT options within the Engineering menu and discovered that it still had no Bluetooth Headphones menu. I contacted Samsung support as suggested and they said "please be advised that your television model is not compatible with a bluetooth headphones. Bluetooth headphone capability was introduced on a 2015 television model up to now". I replied stating that BT is present and enabled and asked if it was a limitation of the software as the hardware was there and got back "Please be informed that the firmware or software cannot make any changes on the functions and features on a certain TV model, but it will help in fixing any issue encountered and in enhancing the performance of the TV. Since the Bluetooth headphone connection is not applicable, we can recommend using the wired headphone connection instead for the model of your TV." :(

i know its a year on, im facing this issue now, cause need headphones, i see you can now get a device that plugs into the optical out of your tv, it converts that signal to bluetooth, you then pair with that device, you need volume controls on the headphones, if that helps. im searching that option out now.

But I my sound settings on menu only show blue tooth headphone list and the menus for tv connect. -samsung audio device - add new device and multi room link are not active( greyed out) and not available and blue tooth headphone list is empty and won't refresh, any suggestions? Hello. I have model UE55H6400 and it works! But I have one serious problem: My bluetooth earbuds do not have volume control, and as soon as I connect the TV the volume control on the remote is disabled. So I end up listening to maximum volume which is impossible. Is there any way to enable volume control on the remote while listening on bluetooth?

I have the Samsung Series 7 NU7100. This didn't work for me although I could turn on the Bluetooth under Engineer Option. I contacted Samsung support and they said my TV did not have the Bluetooth Device installed and have to use a BT adapter via the USB port. This TV was new February 2019 and many features are turned off or not available, such as Auto Audio Level and Digital closed captions. So much for a sale. It's on sale because they take out hardware and features not because they are offering a good deal!

Hi, thanks for posting the info but tried this and the previous setting adjustment in the hidden menu and the tv will still not recognise my Bluetooth headphones, any suggestions? Samsung 55Ku6400. I can connect other devices to tv but not headphones also can connect these headphones to my phone etc. but not to the tv even when both devices searching and headphones right next to the tv, thanks

I have the Samsung 40 class j6200 full led smart tv. I’m trying to connect my blu-tooth headphones. I have a DirecTV box connected to my TV. I did turned the TV off buy the Samsung remote then I tried doing the “infor, menu, muite, pwr on”. The TV comes on without a hidden menu? I also went to the menu, sound, speakers settings and there is only the “TV sound output-TV speaker” if you click on that it gives you 2 options, “TV speaker or Audio Out”. Below that option there is a TV speaker heading with TV installation type- stand. No other options below that. Nothing as you show in this video???

The Bluetooth was off at the first engineering options and once turned on Bluetooth headphone menu came and I was able to pair my bt headphones however the Bluetooth did not work with the cable box. I was able to hear the sound when I am hovering over the options from tv but once I exit and go to cable can’t hear a thing. Why?

Hi, i have this series: UE43J5500. And to what i have seen online it does seem that my tv has Bluetooth, and in the engineer settings the BT is ON, but when i go to the MRT, it doesn't have BT Support, it only has BT address. plz guide me in this case.

Hi on my 6500 series Samsung (Aug 2014) headphones show up on the Bluetooth menu with the 'secret menu' options turned on BUT when I respond to 'needs pairing" I just get cannot connect to 'Headphone name' I get the message 'check if the device is powered on', which of course they are! I have tried several different headphone makes, same results. Ideas anyone??

I have a Samsung UA55F8000AR which support Bluetooth but again the Bluetooth audio list is not appearing despite having BT on in the options secret menu and BT address in the MRT menu both showing fine?!! Any ideas?!!

Thank you! I was trying to connect Bose bluetooth headphones for my elderly mother and your solution worked. However, when she turns off the TV and headphones and then turns them on, they do not automatically connect. It is very difficult for an elderly lady to go through this process. Is there a way to ensure they connect automatically when they are turned on please?

+Gary B hi; you can't do it automatically to turn off; you have to manually disconnect them

+i Technology Reviews Sorry. Perhaps I wasn't clear. I paired the headphones and they then connected. However, if I turn off the TV and the headphones and then later turn them both back on, I have to go through the whole connect process again - impossible for my elderly mother to do. Is there some way to avoid this please? That is, if you turn on the TV and the headphones they find each other and connect automatically (as an iPhone would do)?

+Gary B hi; they wont automatically connect. yes you have to go in the menu and select connect option from the audio device.

I was doing fine up until the MRT menu. I do not have that therefore no BT Support option. When I close the secret menu and go back to the actual tv settings I do not see Bluetooth options of any kind
