I have one i ordered a few months ago. I have a pool. So, lots of water available but would need to filter

I like the portable nature of this filter. The drawback is that it uses proprietary filters. As such….I would suggest buying a stack of the filters if you decide to use this product.

Honestly best part.

@ I agree…that and it has a pump to suck in and push the water through the filter all in a little discrete package. No water pressure needed to push water through the filter.

Oh hey…PN…there are little plastic clips I think that sit under the lip of the push lock connector that ensures the quick connect pipes don’t pop out. FYI

It may be a good idea to find minerals that can be added to the water after filtering. Looking at their site, it mentions minerals and says their not really necessary and bottled water companies use reverse osmosis, but they add minerals after filtering it. Salt is very important. If you drink nothing but pure water, your body won't have enough salt to draw water into the blood stream and remove it thru your urinary tract. Plus water taste really bad ( stale ) without minerals. There are filters that have a drawer for adding a mineral powder or tablet.

In my homes and my daughter’s, I put in an installed unit under the sink which uses an industry standard filter size that will most assuredly be available even if the company goes belly up. In the case of an installed system, I would recommend iSpring RCC7AK 6 stage Reverse Osmosis filter. It has a final re-mineralizer stage that both corrects the PH a little and adds back in needed minerals. Been using ours 6 years without issues. They run about $225. Keep in mind it requires water to be pressurized into the system from a tap water line (for example). PN, feel free to delete this comment if it steps on any sponsorship.

Will this take chlorine out of pool water and make it drinkable?
@PrepperNow17 күн бұрын
@@jenniferespinoza3512 per Google AI on the concept and use of Reverse Osmosis Yes, reverse osmosis (RO) effectively removes chlorine from water by using a semi-permeable membrane that only allows water molecules to pass through, leaving behind impurities like chlorine particles. Key points about RO and chlorine removal: Highly efficient: RO systems are considered very effective at removing chlorine, along with other contaminants like lead, arsenic, and fluoride. Membrane filtration: The key component is the semi-permeable membrane which filters out chlorine molecules while allowing clean water to pass through. Pre-filtration: Most RO systems include pre-filters to remove larger particles before reaching the membrane, further enhancing chlorine removal
