I'm a bit sad that a bunch of the facts weren't read aloud by Bones but at least we got a special WhyDo fact to spice things up Edit: also I hypothesize the reason the beast ball teleported is because it tried to teleport into the stage and failed, and was sent somewhere else as a result. Possibly the default location was the spawning location since it looked pretty close to there bit idk

You know, I should make a proper guide for item tech soon! There's def a lot of stuff that slips under the radar. That's called a "Z-catch", "item catch" or "air grab", and you get it by pressing the grab button on top of an item in midair. But you have to be RIGHT on top of it, if your positioning is off you'll get an airdodge. It's usually not the best against opponents' items, since the item itself tends to hit you before you get close enough to z-catch. But since a Z-catch is instant, with no lag whatsoever, it can be great for combos & tricks using your own. What you saw there with the beastball was: If you input an item toss immediately after a Z-catch, you basically pick up and toss the item at the same time. People don't talk about this much but I've heard it called "instant item toss" or "instatoss". If you watch players of item characters closely, you'll see they often have a bunch of tricky setups using that technique! Honestly similar idea where you're applying a move's properties to another hit! But this time it's intentional, since if you hit someone with a weak attack while they're buried, the attack happens after they're released from the bury. So moves like pyra/mythra upB with high hitstun modifiers give you tons of time to react after and do whatever you want 👀

You might want to check out the North America Yuzu Smash discord: discord.gg/mmN9Rg4K They got guides and a questions channel! Sadly you have to do some tinkering, and for parsec to work well you need to be within a couple hundred miles of each other, but if you get everything working properly it's a great experience.
