I noticed that on the Knorr's and other products. They now have MSG, which is a flavor enhancer. I am allergic to it. I have some of the older ones and the newer ones that I got before I checked the label. I will have to be careful. A lot now have 'modified food starch' that did not have it, which means they are also no longer gluten-free, which I have to keep on hand for one of my sons.

I went years without having them in my house.I cook. I laid some in for storage, and give-aways since they have been on big sales. I have made two in the last two years. No one is home to cook, every parent is frazzled and harried. It is a shame that they are killing families and killing decent foods.@@catladynj

Another great buy is the half and half. It's only $2 and change. also the large container of yogurt is 4.98 and has live culture. And Clausen pickle in the giant tub in the meat dept. 6.98!!

I’m not sure about Sam’s Club anymore. Yes, it’s nice that you can buy in bulk. I was there last wkend & I love the Glad Press’N Seal. Sam’s had 2 large rolls in a pm for $23 something - 280 sq ft. I went to Walmart a few days later & one roll was $6 something! I paid almost double a roll. Won’t do that again. I have the member plus card & I believe it’s $100 or more a yr. What am I actually saving after I pay that? I’ve been really weighing this out & I don’t think I’m saving that much. I’m going to make a list from now on & actually see what I’m saving - if anything?

I know that last year they didn't have in the dogs wee wee pads, but came back at a higher price and they are pulling that again. Hi Everyone...There is a bag of rice that Danno always recommends, Thai Jasmine Rice, that I was unable to locate at Sam's. I been buying it for a year & now there is not even an empty space for it at my Sam's. It was in a yellow 25 pound bag. Has anyone seen it in their stores? I'm in Atlanta.

@@LWin-ps8jp in southern wisconsin 60 count eggs are $13.48 at walmart, 2 weeks ago they were $12.98 before that they were $9.98or something like that. i brought right before the spike becausei heard about it so i brought 2-60 counts for $8.58 each. Glad i brought 2 at once. we just opened the first 1 like a week or so ago so they will last a little while yet. between that bird flu was back late last summer and the big egg farm/ plant fire at the year end certain areas are seeing a shortage again.

OXO products are good, love them however that freezer although a good price gets bad reviews, we were looking last year to buy one as an extra, reviews said door seal not good, no defrost and lots of people had it die on them around 2 yrs, meat is too expensive now, pay a little more for a better one, check out reviews to help with that. I had a 2 yr old large Amana compressor die at 2 yrs thank goodness I took out the Home Depot warranty for $60.

We made an unexpected trip this week to Sam's. I have lots of flour but grabbed the Gold Medal anyway. A household with a few kids would make out well at Sam's. I never saw so little rice and although they were far from out, the paper products were low,(for Sam's). We will make at least one more run in the next couple of months. It just isn't convenient or worth it for us now. It would have been years ago, but I guess it is up to The Husband.

At our Sam's in west Texas, for the last 3 months Wright Bacon has been $15.98. Last Nov it was $19.98 We went to Sam's Wednesday and they had water stacked everywhere. I figured they were filling in space where something was out of stock.

for us wright bacon was $19.98 at the end of oct. but the end of the first week of nov. it dropped to $15.98 so i made a special trip back just to stock up thinking it was temporary because of the gossip but it stayed that price. it did spike to $17.98 but it lasted less than 2 days and went back to the $15.98 price. not sure how many to buy this time next thursday? need to find a working crystal ball before then. 😊😊
