Now because of mandates & extra fees it is in summer without heat $65 to$ 75. Winter it becomes > $100 with heat set to come on at 40F. The expenses became too high from all the govt. mandates. In California, I used to use 90% productivity in estimates for heavy construction. 1/2 hour lunch and (2) 15 minute breaks so in a 10 hour day you actually worked 9 hours but due to regulation changes I started using 60% productivity and the clients asked how can you say that workers are only working 6 hours in a 10 hour day and I used the regulations to show them that now you have to wait for a go ahead, can't just start working, you can't go to the bathroom or eat in the work area, no,, have to shut down everything and then go to an offsite lunch tent/ break tent. Then have to wait again to go back to work until you get the go ahead to start again. Clients then wondered if 6 hours out of 10 was even correct. Just another way the regulators have passed a lot of stupid laws in California. So now 4 paid hours for non productive work as opposed to 1 hour of paid non productive work. Wonder why prices are going up?
@makb5354

How exactly did you get 3 hrs less in working day because the employees can now leave the work site to have 30 min lunch? Lunch is non payable hrs therefore it shouldn't matter to you where the employee eat it. You can mandate that all take the 30 min lunch at the same time. Can you point us to the link of the law that applies these regulations?

EVs do not work in Maine where I live. The winters are way to cold for those batteries to hold a charge. I continue to drive a gas powered car. I had an accident with it and used duct tape to keep it together. Still getting an inspection sticker with the duct tape. I will not spend $40,000 to get another car. Will drive it into the ground. Currently I have 185,000 miles on it and it still works well as I keep good maintenance on it. W e must all live within our means. Keep up the great work you are doing.

Dude you need a new life plan if you’re having to pay for food in a credit card and carry the balance… that’s insane. You need to look hard at your job and other costs and start cutting out stuff you don’t need or get a better job/2nd job. No offense. I sympathize, but you got to step up when stuff like this happens. I’m f all you do is complain, you’ll never get out ahead

😲 Speed Tape? My wife and I were on a flight once, and I had the window seat as usual. While cruising at altitude, I glanced out and saw what looked like duct tape flapping on the wing! I flagged down a stewardess, pointed it out, and she said she'd let the pilot know. A few minutes later, she returned and said the pilot wanted to chat with me after we landed. Once on the ground, the pilot invited me into the cockpit and explained what the tape was for. He reassured me that everything was safe, though I don’t remember his exact words. LOL

Actually it was absolutely horrible 4 years ago, but it was less than it had been in a while. Look at the value of the dollar pegged to gold or silver (aka, what the founders called "money") over the last 100 years and realize that wages back 100 years ago would buy you 3-4 times the amount of metal as they do today. A corvette in 1970 cost say, 40 oz of gold...same as today. Only difference is your average salary had you buying twice as much gold back then as now. In other words, Trump was nothing more than lipstick on a pig. Don't get me wrong, I guess if I had to kiss the pig it may as well wink at me, but it is still a pig.
