This story annoyed me from start to finish. Forging someones signature would not be so easily dismissed, just because they both now want a divorce. Forgery is forgery. Once they actually went to court for the actual divorce, she would have had to declare her income as well before a financial settlement of assets could be decided. This would have taken months. And so much more, so this story just annoyed me.

Apple text universe has a lot of leeway for each role, crazy MIL entitled to their DILs maid service and cash for more than 2yrs up to 15yrs, crazy Sister or SIL/MIL crippling a nephew and getting it settled out of court *no jail time* , Cheating Ex-husband demamding a remmarriage believing the person they cheated on is _waiting to get back with them_ , gold digger returning the dud they stole so the lawsuit on them get called off, antagonist doing crimes like illegal parking, breaking&entering, assault, stalking and identity theft and having everything settled *out of court*

Actually the person bringing the charges can drop the charges at any time. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

​​@@ArthurRex131 It doesn't work that way in criminal court. Once the crime is reported it's up to the state, the only thing the victim can do is ask for leniency. Suspended sentience in this case makes sense as she indicated she wanted the divorce for other reasons. It would still go on his record and he would be under suspension so he wouldn't technically have gotten away "Scott free" by any stretch. I don't know what his job is, but it's seems to be some form of business interaction, kind of surprised his company is comfortable with someone with forgery on their record. This whole story is a load of crap anyway, she went through the divorce procedure claiming he supported her and she had no income. He could take her to the cleaners for that, I'm pretty sure the massive green bandage would heal his wounded pride pretty quickly.

Sometimes the truth doesn’t come out until moving in with the person or marriage 1 of my friends got married to his nox ex. Everything seemed cool. But after the wedding and living together, he had no idea she was stalking her ex. Only married my friend to make her ex jealous… He divorced her when the ex sent her letter saying if she didn’t stop following him, he’d get a restraining order… She didn’t stop after the divorce… My friend got married to a better woman. She’s still single, but being watched by her parents… her ex did get a restraining order… took 1 day, she violated it.

Men who cheat often accuse the wife of being a poor housekeeper as an excuse to justify their cheating. Finding fault with the wife is a classic dick move by cheaters. By pointing fingers, they try to gain a higher moral ground - and to tell themselves that the wife deserved to be cheated on. BTW, this story is twice as long as it reasonably should be. It'd say the writers get paid per word, so they pad things out and stuff quality. And this writer dragged it on and on, well beyond anything reasonable, to produce a wordy, tedious, boring - but presumably lucrative - tale.

I honestly wonder how many marriages are actually ended via forged signatures, considering how many stories seem to revolve around that theme. That is a crime (multiple crimes actually) that should have one immediately seeking out a lawyer, especially if the person who did it is dumb enough to confess to it.

In the US, not very many. In the US all divorces must go through court, even uncontested divorces. They are not just a matter of filing papers that are routinely handled by just clerks. A judge MUST be involved and almost always that means at least one lawyer. No reputable lawyer would risk his license to practice law by allowing a forgery on the divorce papers.

They do not pick up or sort clutter and they don't always get some of the details. They also do not do the laundry, most of the time. And they do not cook your meals. Usually, unless an extra fee is paid, they don't wash dishes.

I was expecting Sean to come back begging cause he couldn't do chores on his own but making your own business, getting him charged for forgery & then letting him find out his cleaning services are from OP's company before terminating the contract was another level I didn't expect. What an elaborate way to pull the rug out from under them(or whatever the saying is) lol I hope Sean's mom learns from this & starts forcing him to learn to be a proper man though I also wouldn't be surprised if his mom just snaps & starts letting her frustration out on Sean & or just divorcing the dad & leaving so both Sean & his dad have no help with the house. It's stupid but I can't help but imagine Sean's dad is a fat guy that looks kinda like a giant lazing around on a lazy boy or something like it's his thrown in a golfing/polo shirt & some fancy wrist watch. So Sean would be a mini version of him(maybe think of Pete & PJ but with PJ being unlikable & being like his dad) maybe less fat & without the watch. The forgery was never even mentioned in the aftermath but it should have. It is not a minor crime that can be ignored. Plus "Sean" actually celebrated that the court only suspended the charges? What is he? Stupid squared? Wait, don't answer. I know he is ... It only means that the court did not convict him of the crime *at that point in time but will so in the future* . The court likely did only wait on the ruling of another court whether the divorce was actually in effect or not before ruling on the forgery. Very strange since a forgery is a forgery regardless of a divorce. Maybe it was so the woman is not responsible for monetary punishment as well since she is still married, meaning the court would punish the victim as well.

Sorry but I kind of agree with Sean. She is leeching off her parents. She owns her own company making a lot of money. Saying she stays with her parents so they can clean and do chores while she runs her business... pretty much a leech. She's a grown adult.
