Feels like a lot of people are just trying to make excuses for the horrendous quality of these items by suggesting it's the fault of the way they were washed, etc but let's be real here, the bad quality is a result of the materials themselves and how they were put together, not how they were washed. If I'm going to spend 100s of my hard earned pounds on expensive clothing you're damn right I want it to survive in the real world. My primark black crop top that cost me maybe £5 tops is in perfect condition after many months of wear and a billion washes on a regular cycle. So if that can survive then you're damn right I'd expect something so expensive to be sturdy af!

"Fits like a glove" - more gloves used to be tailor made so would fit perfectly like a second skin rather than the "one size fits all" types that are often in most shops. They would be especially comfy if made from leather as the leather would stretch and mould to the shape of the wearer 😊

Vick Vkusnyatina that's a huge shame because this is the first time she's reviewing this brand's clothes, so the thought that she's being nice despite the products' awful quality just to receive more stuff in the future is kinda... sad? That first skirt was just so awful, when the lace attachment fell off and the thumb ripped through the fabric (I saw what I saw, that was no "oops there was a hole here that I didn't see") all I could think was "is this really worth it?" That's why I think this is mostly her just being her usually nice self. She seems like the kind of person who will always nuance things that she doesn't like because saying "I hate this" sounds really harsh.

Regarding the extra long skirt: You could try to bustle it like a wedding dress (do a search on youtube 'How to bustle a wedding dress'.) Or put an elastic strap at the longest point of the skirt which will then go around your wrist.

I so agree with you about the zips. Invisible zips used to be metal and now with the cheap plastic versions, they just are not strong enough. I think my favourite was the two piece dress thing at the end, it’s very cute and it looks really good on you. It suits you perfectly. The long skirt probably would be good for like a red carpet type thing or something along those lines including the photos wedding thingy.

Oh my goodness, I loved them all. Though, it did break my heart to see that skirt fall apart. But, the second skirt was amazing! I could also see it at a wedding or photoshoot. Or a concert with balcony seating...or a high class event of some sort. Just beautiful train.

A tip for the back buttons with the elastic loops - use a crochet hook to pull out the loops and get them over the buttons. That's how wedding dresses with the row of buttons on the back get put on and taken off do quickly. And since the top is a little large on you, maybe you can get into it with 3/4 buttons already done up and then just have to deal with the handful at the top of the back.

On skirt two is the tail long enough to add a wrist loop to the train so you could get it off the ground, obviously would not be practical for just daily wear but it would make it possible to wear to parties and special occasions where you are mostly just standing around chatting. Though ladies of ye'old'ye'time did plenty of dancing in the skirts held up with wrist loops! Great vid, thanks for sharing!

Oh my goodness! I would so wear that super long skirt for so many things! (Mostly solitary occasions... reading/writing/arting by candlelight, etc.) If you can find a durable, but flowy black fabric, you could lightly tack it onto the train and wear it for walks in the woods during Fall. Additionally, if you are of the Pagan persuasion, it would be a phenomenal piece for rituals, but more specifically esbats and Samhain! Ooh...I think I may have just convinced myself to buy one... True to size, you say???

for the long skirt, try just adding a simple loop hidden in the ruffles near the hem & a button somewhere along the rear seam where you want to loop it up? It almost acts like a draped bustle effect (a lot of wedding dresses with long trains have this on them, so the bride can walk the aisle with her train down & down for pics, but she loops it up to walk around with her guests at her after party , etc & not get stepped on😊) .
