freakin' love this series. adam's filmic GM'ing style is great with this cast, just the way they all roll with it is fantastic. most roleplaying games are too combat focussed to make a good webseries or TV show but this one would be pretty damn good.

I love how in a group of people who are pretty clearly sociopaths or psychopaths, Victor seems reasonable and normal most of the time, but then he just has these moments where he's suddenly kind of insane.

My suspicion is that he is working WITH the "terrorist" Odette Ranier. I am really curious what will they do with Pi. They may be legit and break it (or just erase). Or they may just use it for nefarious stuff. Anyway, the group cannot keep Pi unless they want to become no 1. on the wanted terrorist list in the whole sector. Anyway, exciting stuff!

sitrilko I may have missed something, but the impression I got during the initial cutscene that Odette is *opposed* to these people and does not want them to have Pi. Sounded like they were going to send a team to extract the SS crew? My guess is Odette's faction is something like the "AI are people too!" league, and these other guys are just wanting to use Pi for whatever their nefarious goals are. Initially I'd thought they were some sort of luddite "AI-are-the-devil" faction - sort of a diametric opposition - but if that were the case presumably they'd just have destroyed the ship once they found out an AI is on it.
