Hi, I tried sharing a document that was on my desktop and when I pressed the green share screen option I was taken to my desktop windows and my document was there, but as a blank document. I had to use the share document option on the chat, and it worked. My concern is how to get these documents shared on regular screen share. or in other words, what must I do to the document first so it can appear as a selectable option and not as a blank document when I press the green share button? Thanks

Is there a way for me to share my 3 desktop screen simultaneously

A question please? I have a flip book on my mac pro laptop. I wish to share it when in a meeting. Here is the question: Can I save that flip book to my screen save dialogue box, so I can sheare it every time I have another meeting? Thank you, Michael

Hey Michael - I'm afraid I don't have the answer to your question. I'm not sure that you're able to save something to a dialogue and have it automatically share whenever you have another meeting. You will likely have to go through the process of re-sharing your flipbook during every meeting.

Is there a way where participants simultaneously can edit a shared file in Zoom?
@ITProTv3 жыл бұрын
Not that I'm aware of. My suggestion would be to create a shared Google Doc and use that during your meetings that everyone can edit simultaneously.

When I open the share screen, it shows with Desktop with “triangle with !” In the center. It’s seems to be frozen and it’s not doing anything. What do I do to get that to work. This is new Mac for me and I’m learning. Thank you for your lessons.

Hey Grace, I am sorry but I don't think I fully understand your question. Would you mind explaining it a bit more?

Make video on how to share file on zoom from iPad
@ITProTv4 жыл бұрын
Hey Brinda - We actually have a video about screen sharing on an iPad here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKayY3lnd66Aa68 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKayY3lnd66Aa68 and a video about how to use the Whiteboard on an iPad here:kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4GYmqSjep2SpLs File sharing is pretty similar to both of these. If you have the file open (ex. a powerpoint slideshow) at the same time as Zoom, then you should be able to choose "Powerpoint" from the "Share Content" dropdown. If that doesn't work, then you can follow the screen sharing video above and share your iPad screen. If you have the Powerpoint open at the same time as the Zoom meeting, then sharing your screen should allow you to share the Powerpoint (or whatever is open and running on your iPad). Hope this helps!

Are you in a meeting? It'll only show up when you're in the middle of a meeting.

So whenever my teacher drops a file in the chat section, everybody else get's the file but in my chat shows nothing at all just empty. Even if my class mate drops a document in the chat it doesn't show in my chat. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. Also checked my zoom settings on chat everything is turned on for the file sharing etc but still not working

If your teaching to a class of 30 and you have a power point presentation up. How do you hide all the students on the page so they aren't covering up the presentation.
@ITProTv4 жыл бұрын
When you begin sharing your screen, all of the participants should shrink and display at the top of the screen, with your presentation in the middle of the screen. You should be able to minimize the participants video with the minus sign icon in the upper left hand corner of their display. Make sure you do NOT have side-by-side mode enabled. For teaching, I would recommend enabling dual monitors (if you have a second monitor) and use monitor 1 for the presentation and monitor 2 to see all of the students videos. Hope this helps and best of luck with remote teaching!
