Just an observation, but it looks like you welded 3 bolts pointing out on those motor mounts. I think you have just locked your mounts into the angle iron you welded the bolts to. Unless there are some slots in the mount bolt holes.

I like the rocker covers. I think you should skin sides under hood in stainless pop rivières panels. Maybe fire wall. But maybe on for winter. Just needs driving now. My first American car in UK was a 57 convertible. Same colour as yours. Good luck. ✌️✌️

The 4l80 uses the same yoke as th400. The 4l60/700r4, th350 and 2004r use the same yoke.
