The moment I saw those souls getting sucked up into the gauntlet followed by CAPCOM PRESENTS splashing on the screen I freaked the hell out! I'm bummed I had to step away just as they played this trailer. I wonder if they're going for a more soulsy slow combat system with more focus on difficulty. I'd love for them to go back to the more RE inspired, puzzle based gameplay of the first game. 2026 is so far out though the wait will be agonizing.
