***EDIT*** oo boy editing error right at the beginning of the vid? lol thats what happens when you stay up for almost 40 hours, sleep for 12 hours, then rush out of bed to make a vid when you saw there was a trailer drop Today we Expand on Dong Hwan! He is our latest character for Fatal Fury City of the Wolves and a returning character from Mark of the Wolves. Son of the evil murderer(probably) Kim Kaphwan he brings the Taekwondo moveset back to the series and the boy has learned some new tricks as well so give the vid a watch and learn whats up!

Isn't it 5 spots left? Rock Terry Hotaru Tizoc Preecha Marco Jenet Vox Kevin Billy Mai Dong is only 12, unless Ronaldo got confirmed as a playable launch character somewhere. If it's 5, I think it's as simple as Jae Hoon, Gato, Kain, Freeman and Hokutomaru, completing the full Garou roster with Vox replacing Grant. Andy and Joe join Ken and Chun Li as late arrivals. Last DLC spot could be Ronaldo, Mary or Duck King.

MY BABY BOI IS BACK, it seems like he’s gonna be really fun here but I am curious if his Super Jump is gonna come back as that was a mechanic unique to him in Garou, that and his Iori style cross up, those are both super pivotal to his gameplan in Garou and we didn’t see either here which is interesting. As an aside his close heavy punch was always 2 hits it’s just that it didn’t combo unless you cancelled after the first hit. He looks like he’s still gonna be pretty technical with the tiger knees, tho getting a launch he can combo into makes it so you don’t have to do the insane c.HP > feint cancel > Tiger knee super, as a confirm which I am perfectly fine with that shit is hard. And a weird note the Japanese trailer has a slightly expanded combo just showing that he can still Followup after his air kick super. So those double super conversions he had in Garou are back with insane corner carry and combined with special into special he’s probably gonna have some saucy combos.

It's great to see Dong! I think mostly ending the reveals with characters that weren't just in XIV/XV would be great, and this was a nice surprise. Because his moveset is a little further away from current Kim's interpretation, imo he makes more sense over Jae Hoon if only one is in the first 22. Personally Andy and Joe not being silhouettes but actually shown on those initial posters, yet still not revealed makes me believe they are either in the story only or it was sort of a tease at them being in by proxy with their disciples. It feels like that'd be pretty underwhelming if they were the last to be revealed unless they're very different from what they've been recently. To me it's Gato, Kain, Hok, and 2 new or FF throwbacks.

I have to say, I think his updated look is dope, gotta say the character designs have been top-notch. One of the character slots has to be saved for the big boss - hopefully Rocks Mom. I was hoping for more originals, and the kim brothers would be DLC, but not too upset with this. SNK is famed for its hidden bosses, so maybe Rocks Mom is not counted in the original set.

Not really familiar with Dong Hwan until I saw the trailer and this video, but his moves look cool, especially with the electric effects. I also hope that the final character isn't his brother. I predict someone cool like Rock's mom Marie to round out the base roster. I feel like having her as the main villain in the story would be different.

I think Rock's stage might be spoilery. It fits both characters, but I assume Rock will have a story-heavy stage, like Kain had.
