Nice 1 Rob. You need some nice bull bars with some nice spot lights on the front of the Jeep.

Completely solved!

It helped big time. There are some times that you get the sound ans buffering but that's just slight adjustments needed. I ended up ordering the aerolidz as well. Those two working in combo really did solve 99% of the issues. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqqqqmCihLqAe7s

Just one will for the whole light bar?

I bought an aerolidz but the wind noise on my soft top is still very bad. I don't have any high pitched sounds. Will this work for the soft top?
@itsadyerthing Жыл бұрын
I'm using both aerolidz and this deflector and you have to find the perfect angle in order to work somewhat ok with soft top for highway speeds. It takes so Little to cause buffering and slapping of that soft top. It's really frustrating I can assure you. For hard top it works great. But ragtops are a night to deal with. You'll even see, once you get that sweet spot figured our, and a car goes by you and is doing same speed as you are on the side of you. The whole sound of your top and flapping changes !!!! And the dang car is beside you !!! Hahaha like what gives !!!. Anways yeah it will help but you will always be fighting with.the flapping and smacking of your softtop. Crazy how the wind and pressure reacts! I find it better when I drive with my window down just a tad or when I put the fan on to help pressurize the inside.. My next thing would be to get away from light bar and go with individual pod lights. Or a quick disconnect so that when I know I have a long road trip on highway I simply remove ! It's always more of a hinder than a help ! Not sure if a single row light bar is any better. But yeah. That softtop is a pain... Cheers and let me know how you make out.. Rob.

Just did this and it worked. Didn't add the extra padding but so far wind noise is gone. Thank you!

what noise does it make?
@itsadyerthing2 ай бұрын
@FranciscoGarcia-vh2ye it's a low tone frequency hum to a whistle. The air flow around the bar to the roof causes turbulence and can become annoying especially if you're running a rag top ! Then you get buffeting on the canvas. The aerolids light cover works best for that. You'll mostly experience this at highway speeds

Can't you just tilt light bar angle down a little and still retain down road lighting?

What is the website To order
@itsadyerthing3 ай бұрын
@philipfabbricante7378 I simply ordered off Amazon canada. It does help a little. Not 100% gone especially if you're running a soft top. You'll still feel it.
