***** That's literally one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. So because of them, we have blood on our hands? In case you haven't noticed, _every country in the world has blood on their hands._ Pretty much all of them has more blood on their hands than us. No one is perfect. And no, going into the army doesn't automatically make them heroes. But they at least deserve respect for putting their lives on the line, so we don't have to.

***** so you have the guts to go and risk your life and not see your family for long periods of time, and seeing people die before your eyes and everyday worrying if you'll see tomorrow ? woow then you go join the military ;) if it wasn't for them you would have to probably do it. you can be so glad your brought up in this generation cause if you didn't know some countries had a law when a man is done with school he had to join the military whether he wanted to or not. so get over yourself ! you honestly make me sick ! all you do is probably sit in your room playing games while they protect your country. have some respect !!!

***** Seriously? Shut. Up. No one cares what you think. None of what you say is true, and we know it. You're just some ignorant, idiotic, troll looking for attention. So sit down. I come from 6 generations of soldiers, I would know what I'm talking about.

Soldiers don't make war, they try to keep peace. Politics and greed of a few powerful men and women creates wars. Soldiers are merely trying to do something to help serve their country. Regardless of war, soldiers are average people, separated from their families, trying to do something worthwhile. Respect them for that sacrifice alone. Lest we forget.

To any soldiers or veterans who may be reading this: I don't even know how to begin to thank you for the sacrifices you made for our country. It's because of you that we as a people are able to live free lives, and it's because of you that America still stands strong. It's not every day you come across someone so devoted to our country that they're willing to risk their life for it and it's people. Thanks to you, I am able to fall asleep at night feeling safe, and I can only pray that some day you can too. For what it's worth, I hope you always know that you are revered by many, and that I will forever cherish the fact that you were selfless enough to risk your life for the freedom of those you care about. God Bless!

+GuardianXgamer And, while we’re at it, we may also want to give just a passing thought to the tens of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan solders who died defending their families and their countries. And the thousands of civilian men, woman, and children who died, “collateral damage” in a war they had no involvement at all in. War is hell, for those on both sides.
@jeffreyharrison689610 жыл бұрын
***** As a combat vet, I agree. War brings nothing but pain and heartbreak on both sides. It is the innocent that pay the highest price. P.S. Do not mistake the Taliban for an Afghan soldier, because the Taliban are from Pakistan, and they are a bunch of sick fucks who deserve every bullet thru their shit brains they get. If you do not believe me go there and see what they do for yourself. Peace,

Anyway for the people who think soldiers are murderers, what if your parent(s)/sibling(s)/friends/etc went off to war and u haven't seen them for months or year and they came home or didn't, how would that make u feel. Sad wouldn't it. Show some respect to our soldiers.

It is unreal just how many AMERICANS are hating on the US military. Granted the reasons they do what they do may not seem clear to you....but at least some one has the balls to try and help this country. I am proud to be American....where as the majority of the comments I see here, its clear many of you are not. Please feel free to leave the US....immediately. You may not agree with what they have to do....but at least support your own country, instead of lashing out with hateful messages that will mean nothing and do nothing but show your ignorance. It sickens me to think that the general population cant stand its own military. Lets see you do something to keep this country safe WITHOUT them.

I don't care about the challenge. Here's to those who fought and serve our country, welcome home. Most importantly, here's to those who died serving. We all shall remember and honor you for your strength and courage to protect our country. *salutes to all soldiers*

I miss my husband when he’s done a regular days work. I can’t imagine what it takes to have them away for so long. I admire their sacrifice, all of the sacrifices made. 🌹
