In 2006 my brother came back from the Iraq War he was 24 had a family and had children. When he came back his son who was 2 years old was going crazy waiting for his dad. He saw a man in a army suit and ran toward him and yelled Daddy that man wasn't his dad he just remembered the uniform not his face. So I know it's nice to see people get back together but you have to remember all the time those people missed and painful hours waiting so long wondering if they would ever come back. All the birthdays the missed and all the anniversary's they missed. When I graduate from high school I was so angry my brother couldn't make it I got tired of him and his dam career. But then I had to remember that's the sacrifice you have to make.

The sad ting is that this was has claimed over a million iraqi civilians and set the country back 100 years. The sad thing is invading a country on the false intenses of that country is threatening america when in fact it wasn't and even when evidence are presented that the ones that were pushing for war were lieing the president can simply just shrug his shoulder and say, hmm "yeah ok but atleast we fried the people of a horrible dictator and brought these poor folks democracy. Yeah that was worth the deathpool that supersedes the deathpool of the iraq/iran war (also founded by the US, where they sold weapons to both parts!), kuwait war (where the us both encouraged the kuwaitis to become independent from iraq and iraq to reclaim it!) the iraqi civil war that occurred after the kuwait war where the civilian freedom fighter were 1 city away from achieving total victory, namely baghdad (the capital), when the US interfered and crushed the rebellion, in the one hand you want him removed, you go to war against him and in the second you support him? you crush the civilians, the very people you know claim want to help? where was this in 91??, the US helped saddam to crush the uprising but kept an no fly zone over the kurds whilst leaving the majority of the iraqis, namely the shiats to their faith, for slaughter, 150 000 iraqi went "missing" then, and yet this was has caused more civilian casualties then all of those wars put together. The sad things is these soldier are dieing so that company like haleburton making billions and the people are none the wiser worrying more about their right of carrying a machine gun...

@acrane030710 жыл бұрын
This video is not about politics. It's not about whether or not American soldiers are awful. This video is about men and women who went away to defend their country and their families, missed milestones and events and time with the people they loved the most...and the overwhelming emotional reunions. The emotion in this video gets me crying no matter how many times I see it. I am a military wife and my husband is not currently in the states, and our reunion will be just as emotional because at the end of the day, under the camo is the man I fell in love with, married, and made a baby with. Under the camo is just another American that went to defend his country and is missing part of his son's life. So to those of you that feel the need to hate and bash soldiers because of your political opinion...have a heart. Soldiers are more than pawns to the government. They're vital parts of their families, and the deployed ones are missed. End of story. Go debate your opinions with politicians, not the soldiers.

Children run, attracted, to meet their dads as the iron runs to meet the magnet. Love is a magnetic force. It's powerful, and benign. Love is a natural force. When you see the tears in the children's eyes, don't you think life is the best opportunity to feel that magnetic force? Or do you think the best opportunity is dying during a war? So, why a man chooses the war if he, naturally, would prefer to feel their sons and daughters' little embrace just in the safe place of his neck? Maybe he doesn't know that the iron of the bullets runs, attracted, to meet his head just as a magnetic force. Maybe he forgets that the iron doesn't cry of happiness in watching him coming back home in a coffin. I don't know if wars are fair or unfair, I just know that during a war the only magnetic force you are able to feel is the force of iron. Because love is, naturally, out of wars. War is not a safe place, and we have just one life to feel our sons and daughters' little embrace in the natural place of our neck. So, what is better, life or war? I'm sorry for my ignorance about war. Maybe wars are necessary and I don't know it. I don't know it because Love makes me feel magnetically connected with life, and because it makes me think that if someone believes wars are necessary, maybe someone else wants him to believe that. Because if you believe wars are necessary, maybe you don't think the possibility of not fight in it, and you don't think the possibility to make another choice. And if someone makes you to believe you don't have another choice, maybe you forget the magnetic, natural, and human force of Love and start to believe in the magnetic, natural, and inhuman force of a bullet iron. But the choice is yours. Just yours. (I hope I wrote quite correctly...)
