"Your Welcome" is also good manners, but subconsciously conveys something like I have done something for you/you are in my debt. "My pleasure" on the other hand conveys I am happy to have done what I just did. Customers respond better long term to "my pleasure" and CFA knows that and is good about using it and other micro satisfaction details for customer retention.

Some Chick-fil-a's allow their employees to accept tips! It's up to operator discretion. I worked for Chick-fil-a for about a year, and most people didn't tip I assume because they thought we couldn't take it. However, Chick-fil-a employees constantly go above and beyond and most get paid minimum wage. If you have the money, please ask if they can accept tips and give them one if they can. It really helps.

I was living in Lubbock Texas in 2011 when the chick fil a opened on 82nd st, people slept in the parking the night before the grand opening (for free nuggets for a year)...aint that the south😎
