That’s our Suga aka Agust D😂 Actually, your guess is spot on. Suga left home at a young age and didn't receive much love from his parents. Since his childhood, Suga has been through a lot throughout his life and has been battling with severe mental issues for a long time. Maybe his adorable personality of being awkward with receiving or giving affection might have been influenced by his childhood experiences. Behind his impassive and indifferent expression, there are many stories and emotions hidden. Suga is probably the member that people come to understand last (l was like that too lol), and it's easy to misinterpret him as merely tired and aloof. However, those who truly know Suga are aware of his layers, much like an onion, and deep inside there’s a warm, loving, and lovable cutie pie who secretly loves affection☺️And he sometimes become so energetic and an absolute crackhead(especially when he is with Hobi lol)

I think him being "tired" or "lazy" has a medical cause, like some autoimmune disease. I highly doubt that it's "just" depression, especially because mental and physical health are closely connected (inflammation, gut-brain-axis, nutrition).

​@@nehalilisays Actually, Suga once mentioned that though he know that nobody might believe him, he was the one with the biggest build among the members during trainee days. So he thought he would grow to be up to 180cm tall. However, due to that accident, the doctor told him that he should live with minimal movement, and he lost a lot of muscle. I mean, I believe his words. He used to play basketball and do b-boying a lot, so he would have had a sturdy and strong body.

At first, I thought Suga was often looking tired or dozing off because he tends to sleep a lot, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Suga mentioned that he hasn’t been able to sleep deeply and he hasn't slept more than 3 hours per night over the past 6 years🤦‍♀️ This guy needs to rest whenever he gets the chance!! It could also be a side effect of the painkillers he had to take for several years, considering he's been on some pretty strong ones for a long time.

I think to understand yoongi's personality, his humour, his behaviour you've to watch him more... The more you watch him the more you'll get to know him. This happend with me... when I was in my ARMY journey, I was a baby ARMY I couldn't get his personality. The interviews I watched, he was unbothered and quiet, he did speak but he was subtle with it. But when you see him in run BTS you'll see that he enjoys it more, he enjoys more with people he knows well. He looked like an ice when I first watched him but trust me he's nothing like that.... he's a very soft person and show his loves to his people if different ways and not to mention his dry humour. Suga loves animals, especially dogs. He usually flips out when he sees one (like I do), he is so cute with his Min Holly. He has said Min Holly just oes something to his heart. They had a great Run episode where the boys went to a dog training course and each was assigned a dog. Suga was so cute with his dog and bonded with it. He even proudly said "that my boy" when the dog did something perfectly! Just adorable seeing this loving side of Yoongi. I have always said, you can't trust people who don't like animals (or dogs, cats, etc.). All the BTS guys seem to LOVE their dogs! JK is so cute with his bammie. I adore Yoongi. 😊 Obviously he’s a genius, and ridiculously talented.. but I love his personality and humour. :11 all the members had different missions and were even allowed to disturb each other so that member wouldn’t be able to complete his mission. Suga’s mission was not to talk. :46 whenever they do their lives, with or without Suga, someone always comments ‘Marry me Suga’ and the members love it 😂 1:31 they were on a talk show and one of the hosts asked each member to compliment another member. Jin was saying nice things about Suga. Around 4:45 each member had to pose from a dance from a certain song, one member was blindfolded and had to feel the poses and guess the song from the poses. Yes Suga said many times he wants to be a stone in his next life and it’s memorable throughout the fandom Suga has a dog named Holly and loves her Suga is funny even when he isn’t trying. He’s hysterical when he does!

Suga's father showed his love not by saying but by doing. Yoongi is the same way. He is not openly expressive with his feelings, but he shows it in so many little ways. You watch their videos, and you will see it. Like the one where V needs some water on stage, and no one seemed to notice. All the other members had their water. Suga reached over and grab a bottle took a quick sip and low-keyed passed it to V to finish. Another video, the guys were playing video games, and Suga went into the kitchen and surprised them with a plate of snacks. Like I said, he is a doer just like his dad. 🥰
