Its called nuclear pasta because it has theorized to have different stages, each named after a different kind of pasta (lasagna, spaghetti, gnocchi, bucatini, anti-spaghetti and oddly enough, swiss cheese)

@@teamruddy611 nope. Nuclear pasta is the (theoritical) inner part of the neutron star. Neutronium is the outter part.

I really hope Coffee Stain will consider releasing an art / development book for Satisfactory sometime after the 1.0 release; that not only showcases scenic shots of the world and maybe some of the absolutely amazing builds people have made, but also goes into the behind the scenes stuff during development and the journey it went on from conception to release. I love getting to dive into these kinds of things and see how stuff changed and developed over time: how designs have changed; what ideas have lasted since the beginning, and what got left on the cutting room floor; what things weren't even considered till the community got involved and how that feedback has changed the course of development.

Just to note, in the actual game files, dark matter and nuclear pasta are completely seperate items, dark matter doesnt appear to be the previous form of nuclear pasta as its a completely different thing in the base game files. Edit, sceintifically, they are very different also.

Honestly I hope we don't get teleportation. Building logistic networks and hypertube cannons is part of the fun; teleporting would kinda spoil ether / both. Also, fun fact: Nuclear pasta is the actual name of degenerate matter in the core of neutron stars. Dark matter may or may not be "matter" in the regular sense, for now all we've seen is it's effect on other objects and not itself. So nuclear pasta is actually more serious!

Counterpoint: If you don't get teleportation until super late game, then you still get a ton of time to enjoy the other features you mentioned.

I don't mind teleportation for personal use, basically A and B buildings, and you choose where you want to go to.. I also don't mind personal inventory teleportation.. What I don't want is multiple storage boxes Tp'ing across the map. But again, it's one of them sceneries. If we don't want to use it, then we don't sort of thing. Also, regarding the nuclear pasta, I should have made it clearer what I meant, but name mainly sound ls more fun, hence the decision 😉

I agree, I hope we don't get teleportation for items, no matter how far up the tech tree it is people will still rush for it instead of spending hours building a train or road logistics network, same for hypertubes. Also effectively it wouldn't be that different to a drone port, items move from one building to another.

@@michaelharbach1987 Sure, and even at the end you could just choose not to teleport. But I feel like the whole game walks a line of getting more complex and efficient at the same time. So for the end result to be a 100% efficient but trivial method would not feel right to me. Of course, this is just how I feel about it.

TBH, I'd like it a lot if the Remote Storage were just a late game storage item that you can take an item from, and holding it in your inventory, makes that slot of your inventory act like a stack of the contained item, but with a value equal to the total of the storage's contents. So, you have the Remote Storage, with a concrete factory behind it, and you can always build basic foundations, so long as the remote storage has concrete in it. By late game it gets SOOOO tiring, realizing you need to run across the map for more stacks of something basic. Yes, I realize you COULD make a centralized storage, and a fancily designed train that you could send home to fill itself up, but it doesn't feel like something you should HAVE to do, and making such a mega train directly conflicts with my entire train design philosophy, of single tracking with two way flow, using sidings for passing.

7:50 I believe they talked about powered walls as a means to get power through walls,which is already possible with the double wall power outlets. looking at the unreleased stuff page is really interesting and it seems like Sam Ore will be used to convert or teleport items. the Somersloops and Mercer Spheres probably wont be used for items but for buildings, since only Sam ore can actually be mined. That one red item the pioneer runs over could be a teleporting platform, but maybeit's just a button you can drive over with your vehicles and idk, open doors or smth.

At this point I might as well subscribe because you show up on my Recommended all the time! I'm so hyped for 1.0, it's insane. All the lategame techy stuff I have no clue about, but those mystery bronzelike ingots, what if they're some kind of copper-caterium alloy? Possibly for late game manufacturing? 1. The colour seems kind of right for it, I imagine that blending metals like copper and Caterium could end up in a colour like that, especially since Caterium isn't silver like tin is. 2. Caterium is super underutilized for a resource that has 8 normal and 8 pure nodes(yep no impure nodes I could find). No way you're going to tell me I can potentially mind 14.400 Caterium ore so I can make a couple of Fuel Generators and Iodine Filters (not counting alternative recipes of course). 3. Copper is a great conductor, but Caterium is even better. Alloying these could create something even more conductive(?) Of course it's just speculation though.

The rifle mk2 was a mistake I believe. And it is confirmed that no mk2 will come, as it is unneccessary, as overclocking and different ammos do the job.

I did not know that item conversion was a thing in the unreleased content page. That is what I am expecting SAM ore to be; something that permits you to create any other base material anywhere, though in this case if they follow the prototype idea then it would require another material to be combined with, presumably for a lot of electricity. This is the only thing that I can think of that would add to the game rather than obsolete other technologies, which is what automated teleportation would do.

The orange ingots could be a detective of caterium, or maybe an alloy involving SAM ore/ingots.

I think there is no (useful for automation) item teleportation will be in the game because it conflicts with every part of logistics from conveyors to drones. A container without outputs and accesable from anywhere - might be. But no automation.

I think that the MK2 version of the building we are not getting. Because CSS have said that the MK2 buildings need to look/feel different and they have no idea what that should be. The Rebar Scatter Gun and Rifle MK2, we are not getting because of the weapon (ammo) changes. Maybe we are getting the Quantum Encoder (with different name and new look), we will just have to see. For the rest I have a wait and see approach

9:54 the weird orange stuff looks like biofuel to me. Snutt has been messing with lights in this video, thats why it is off. But great video Bitz, love the speculation. lets watch this video together in the life stream to see how much you got correct.

Solid biofuel are stacks of 3 cylinders and this item has 4 more or less square bars.

the sam fluctuator could be the one we see go into the machine next to the quantum computer? mebbe? new name/function? my other first guess was superconducting wires... which would make sense combined with quantum computers to make something "uber duber" scifi stuff

I don't see mk2 buildings or weapons coming, i remember constructors and assemblers being named mk.1 when i started satisfactory in 2020 but were removed later and game optimisation made it less of an issue to have more and bigger factories, and as others pointed out, mk.2 versions would have to be different, and that requires more animation/model sets which is more taxing on the game then have 100 more of the same building type. Interesting digging through history and trying to figure out what is what tho!

I can't remember when, but there was a while ago, years ago, where Snut Had hinted that there would be a tech that would be able to move items from one place to another. I have to assume SOMETHING like that will be given as 1.0 is released.
