Can you do a video on everyday polish life? Typical breakfast, lunch, dinner. What is a polish drink, soda, food? How do you cheer drinks? what do you do in summer, winter? very curious. Thank you for another informative video. Its great to have a beautiful and intelligent lady educate the world on the polish language! ... ps ... its called rotisserie!

Mieliśmy „kotlet schabowy”, zrobiony z wieprzowiny, z sałatką tego wieczoru na kolację. Nigdy nie wiedziałem, że to bardzo popularne danie w Polsce. Kocham to. Nazywamy to „sznycel vener”. To austriackie danie z mięsa cielęcego. Moja żona też podaje go z kremowym sosem grzybowym. Pyszne!

Hello again I previously wrote to you with a question? but I'm not sure where and how, I would find the reply from you.? I had asked; if you were familiar with the word suprushka? My grandmother would Brown the flour and butter and add it to pea soup, or other soups, as a thickener. I believe the French call it a roux

I've been using Mango Languages to learn Polish and they use the word "sałatka". So is it both "sałata" and "sałatka"? I assume both are correct, but is there a difference?

Both are correct but the one with an actual lettuce will be most likely called Sałata

Ooo food :) Some of the subtitled descriptions in polish are missing though. I've had pork Kotlets and they are gorgeous! My partner made some from fish the other day when I took some round for her (and they were really nice as well). You forgot Zurek, Bigos and Golabki. Rosol was my first experience with Polish cooking and it just got better every day! (Though she draws the line at making Bigos again, at least for a while anyway lol). Have to say I love the cakes though. Karpatka is so moreish! Can't wait for the next video :)

My grandfather and great grandfather come from Warsaw Poland on my Mom side of family.They owned a Brewery over there .My great grandfather was a General in Russian Amry for the Zara.Once they went communist in the Revolution he left Poland.For fear of being killed.He came here instead of starting a Brewery he had to work making steam engines not steam kettle's because later on it was provision time .It was illegal to make beer.They for the B&O Railroad.My grandfather use to call me his Kabuki eater.
