His shows are great. I’ve been to most of them now. I’ve talked to him at the shows on several occasions as a collector and he is a genuinely nice guy and you can tell that he cares that people enjoy his shows. I was at his Phoenix show this past weekend and did not disappoint. I attended both shows in Seattle first in July and November and each show the amount of tables increased and they could have had 300+ tables easy. This next show in Seattle is 275 Tables. I love them and never miss out. I asked a lot of vendors where they were from at the Seattle show and it was Canada, Vegas, Phoenix, Montana, Idaho, SoCal (basically everywhere)Keep up the great work and for helping promote such great hobby for people of all ages and I’ve been collecting since I was kid in the 70’s 😂.

Dan is an awesome guy! Met him at the Burbank Sports Card show in 2023. He overheard me talking to my daughter about how the 55 Koufax rookie card has been a grail card since I was eight years old. He gave me such an amazing deal to make sure that I wasn't leaving his booth without it. 🙏❤

Totally agree with the not leaving early on Sunday thing. You go to a lot of these shows on Sunday and by 1pm everybody pack up starting to leave. You pay at least $15 and everyone is gone by 3pm

I’ve been to his shows and he’s not kidding when he says he supports the local shops. A few folks working at the nearby coffee shops were excited to get free tickets for the show.

Dan is a great guy, has an awesome staff, and runs excellent shows. As a vendor, it’s a pleasure.

I bought from this guy a couple times a few years ago, he is a real nice guy and he gave some really good bulk deals which I appreciated.

Please consider St. Louis area. We have good regional shows in both KC and STL, but no high end vendors and grading companies setup.

agree 100%, foot traffic is everything, tables will sell themselves with great foot traffic. I really enjoyed this convo as a fellow promoter. :)

They usually have heavy tcg, front row is a good card show

Front row really is the best card show brand on the west coast. They really do know how to bring a crowd and keep them coming back. Most these card shows are terrible promoters. Just trying to sell tables to vendors and doing nothing else

Atlanta desperately needs a good card show. Culture collision just doesn't do it for me. This is an awesome approach

It’s sad when attendees inventory is better than the dealers which is what you see at the Atlanta shows.

Hi Geoff, love the show! I am interested in selling my collection with some very nice graded, unopened, autos, etc. and was wondering if you guys would like to take a look at it? If so, where could I email to? Dwayne

Tell him to come to Atlanta. The shows here are awful.

The line moved way too slow at the Pasadena one. Makes me not want to go back

Come by on Sunday afternoon. Less people, more motivation for dealers to move inventory towards the end of a show. He addressed the issue in the video. There can only be so many people in at once dude to fire codes.

Pay those taxes,.... just a reminder if your selling transactions in 2024 total 5k or more via venmo PayPal cashapp etc... they by law will be sending to you and the IRS 1099.s so you can pay income tax, in 2025 the amount goes to $2,500 and 2026 and beyond its just $600 in transactions that will cause 1099.s to be sent, it's imperative you save receipts for a card you buy and then sell, no receipt? Then full sale price is considered income, this will tank the card shows sellers won't want to deal with receipts and non cash transactions,

I am a very frequently viewer of the show, and generally very positive. But be honest. 48 cards shows didn’t pay for college, the math doesn’t add up. Mommy and Daddy paid for your college, and you made a little money on the side.
@guy85s2217 күн бұрын
If you’re a millennial or younger, I see why you would say that - but college was waaay less expensive in late 80s early 90s if this guy went to a state school.
