One thing that I respect you a lot is you always have a solid opinion on product that you test on. That’s why even I browse through tons of videos, your videos are always the ones that I would sit down and really watch. Instead of having it play as a background noise when I’m doing chores.I can’t stand KZbinrs say “I don’t know” about a product in their videos. And that tend to happen to a lot of KZbinrs who try to call themselves “reviewer”. It irritates me when I spend my time watching their video and get a whole bunch of “i don’t know, I don’t remember”

I love your videos. You’re very relatable and down to earth. My biggest complaint about “Beauty Gurus” is that they seem almost self entitled. They want to rub your nose in the fact that they have 200 eyeshadow palettes and 100 highlighters. When they declutter they only get rid of drugstore stuff and make sure they hold on to every high end product and then claim they’ve done a good job. I love the fact you’ve gotten off of PR lists. Most you-tubers won’t do that. I mean you only have one face after all.

I have been with you for a long time, and I remember everyone having their lipstick collections, mostly Mac, displayed. It is interesting that now the channels I watch are much more like yours, Jessica. Not so concerned with all the "new" launches and continuing to collect more and more makeup. I've been watching beautube for 3 years probably and a lot of people moved to minimalism which is super good for me personally. I didn't have much time to be influenced to want huge collections and get everything new. I'm pretty sceptical about buying new stuff and am actually using things up now, and the panning community really made me shake off the desire to hang on to things. I need to try that Stila cream blush, I just bought 3 NudeStix blushes 2 bronzers and the foundation and I'm obsessed with all the cream face products and "natural" foundation lately!! I also ordered all the Milk makeup products besides the foundation and I'm bout to order it. I love watching your channel because you are so down to earth. You know what you like, you know who you are and you won’t deviate. I also believe that most KZbinrs will change according to the changes that go on in their life. You mentioned Madison Miller, I also love watching her. She was a “Barbie doll” until she had her daughter. She had the perfect hair, makeup and nails. Now her makeup fits her lifestyle. She cooks, cleans and has a toddler running around the house. She still looks gorgeous, but she doesn’t have time for eyeshadow and goes more towards a more natural look. I believe that’s how you can tell who is real and who is not.

To me the biggest change is the length of videos! I remember when Tiffany D did one of her first 30min videos I was like oh hold up I can’t spend 30min watching this even though I was watching like 2 hrs worth of content already lol but now the length of videos don’t bother me as long as the content is enjoyable. If the video only needs to be 5min make it five min. If it’s a video like this the more the merrier. KZbinrs are also super polarized now either they are the most down to earth people or they’re they are the most artificial person ever. Before I think people were just following the trend and one big blob rather than individuals. Anyone else agree?

Yes! Those Stila lip glaze click pens were so popular! I had a couple when they were so coveted but so messy to use! I personally don’t like their new direction of discounting popular products in their line up and replacing them with their new offerings. Their new eyeshadow palettes aren’t anywhere near as good as their older ones. Their convertible colours are the bomb, they better not discontinue them! For a glowy look I take a stippling brush dip it in the cream blush and some liquid highlighter and it’s a 👌 glow

I really like this video and your re - trying old makeup video! The makeup market is so huge and sometimes overwhelming to me today. I started wearing makeup in the ‘70’s and it was very basic back then. Our hands and the brushes and sponge tip applicators were our only tools to apply makeup. Ask your mom! It’s a totally different world! I enjoy learning new things, but it is easy to sucked into buying too many products. Also, I get aggravated that companies put out great new products and then discontinue them before they have even had a chance for everyone to try them! That is my biggest pet peeve!
