I feel the need to say this because growing up in a mexican household you learn to never ever be barefoot or u wont hear the end of it.. so when i see benji n the girls barefoot in the front yard im literally like saying put chanclas on out loud! aka flip flops lol

That's funny. Our household was different. Mom was always barefoot outdoors, as were we. We played a lot in the yard. I think it was her indigenous background that influenced it. Having the earth beneath our bare feet was a special grounding with mother earth. I love that feeling and need to "connect" that way sometimes - even if that "connection" is in my own head. Funny how our cultures mold us.

When my son was learning to ride a bike, we took off the pedals and lowered the seat a bit so he could just concentrate on learning to balance. Then once he got it, we put the pedals back on!! Works great . Maybe you can try that with JB?
