Not sure what the 3 new updates are. Watching a long video like this one to try to find out what the captioned new features are is too much for me as I found most of the other information outside my interest. This comment is more in the nature of an answer to an unasked survey question; i.e. would you continue to view these videos if they were all done as mentioned above, to which the answer would be, “no it’s just frustrating and overly time consumptive”.

12.5.6.3 is incredibly smooth (except when stopping at stop signs, but I may have had it in Hurry mode, and even then it is fairly smooth, just a little too hard). On the highway it is amazing, though sometimes FSD changes lanes too often, it does a very good job doing so. Prior to this release, exiting the highway was clumsy, now it is super smooth. Prior to this release, pulling back over out of the passing lane was often done too close to the passed vehicle, now it seems to be getting amply but not too far ahead before cutting back over out of the passing lane. I'm loving it. Suggestion for Tesla: Give us back the Minimal Lane Change setting. There are times us old geezers just want to stay in the lane we're in even if it is running a little slow.

The latest V4 update is amazing, BUT When I carry bikes... (On both v4 and v3 cars) Accelerates way too abruptly Comes into stop signs, traffic lights, left and right turns way too fast. Closes following distance way too fast then tailgates scary close (less than 1 second) following distance. Really a bummer, wish we could have following distance setting back. Ideally represented in seconds (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3... ) And it might be good to be able to tell the car you are carrying bikes so it's not driving like a confused jack rabbit.

Agree - Hertz screwed up with Tesla's. We've rented M3's twice. No charging cables, despite their saying they come with "charging kits". I even called in advance to confirm. And their are other other issues with how Hertz handles EVs. Tesla depreciation was a problem, but Hertz didn't promote EVs well at all.

Hertz EV issues are their own fault. Clearly buying so many EVs from the start wasn't a good business decision. Looking at the Tesla's they are selling, many have very low miles. It's like buying a new car then selling it too soon, it doesn't matter who you are or your reasons for selling, initial depreciation is killer. If anything, Hertz should be holding onto Teslas longer than ICE vehicles since the drivetrains cost less to maintain. Uber use must be pretty hard on their vehicles.
@fyeofyeo4024 күн бұрын
It was a time that Hertz did not explain charging. New renters did not have to use only Tesla chargers if they had partnered with all the charging networks. Also no adapters. I have a suggestion for you IF your model 3 is repairable. DON'T USE A CERTIFIED TESLA SHOP. Use only an actually Tesla shop, even if an appt is weeks away. It took me 6 months to get my model s back from one of those recommended certified tesla shop. My damage was only my front bumper and a fog lamp. The relationship that Tesla keeps with these shops are terrible, Tesla treats them like a black sheep. Parts weren't ordered until actually approved by Tesla because tesla makes shops eat parts that are wrongly ordered, in addition Tesla takes a long time to diagnose a car that is not at there shop, which further delays. Tesla delivered the wrong part over a 3 week period. The same part. They wouldnt do that at there own shop. Shop failed to ensure all replaced parts were installed correctly which when I realized they were not caused, returning the car and added more down time. So if I could prevent you from having a nightmare like I had, I will. I thought that I would pass my terrible experience along to you and to others.

Rear ended? I hope you're okay. You look like you're okay. My old minivan was rear-ended while I was sitting still in traffic. (The other vehicle, the driver was looking down to get a cup of coffee, and slammed into us going full speed. Knocked my vehicle forward about 30 feet. Totaled both vehicles. I saw it coming, and tensed up, and the impact tore my shoulder muscle. So, that was a fun year of rotator cuff surgery, physical therapy and chiropractic.) I hope you're okay. You look okay. I agree about the 3-row SUV. I drove minivans for about 25 years. I really miss mine. Especially the side sliding doors! Why they don't just go ahead and make those an option on all passenger vehicles is beyond me. They are just so practical! At any rate, there are a lot of 3-row vehicles on the market. There are a lot of minivans. Well... several. At this point... I want a Tesla. So, I don't want to spend a lot of money on a vehicle that doesn't have Tesla's features, and their safety record. Unfortunately, the Model X is a little too gimmicky for me. Now... put minivan sliding doors on it instead of the falcon-wing doors, and I would think about it. I just want Tesla to go ahead and make a minivan. But, that probably won't be in my lifetime. (I'm getting old! Actually... I said that to my doctor recently, and he stopped me and said, "Whoa! Stop! There's no 'getting'. You're old." Thanks, Doc.) And, thank you for your content. I enjoy it very much. Keep it coming!

I would say I am far from the only one. Heck I would pay 100k for a 500 mile dual motor. But do not put a battery in the bed. I still fail to understand why tesla thinks ~320 miles is good enough for a truck. When towing a 18ft RV I imagine I would get less than 150 miles on a charge, this is unacceptable and a stupid simple fix.

It's pronounced Sh ow me as two syllables. SH plus OW as one word and then ME. The ow is short for ouch. The first syllable is not pronounced SHOW. You have to make the sh sound with the ow word added, and then me. I've driven all of the Tesla models and I find the seats to be very uncomfortable and the ride is horribly harsh. I also want to be coddled by my car. I find the minimalist interior with a lack of physical controls very offputting. I've driven thousands of miles in a Tesla and I love the car. Unless the upcoming Jupiter fixes at least the ride and seat comfort I'm going to have to go with another manufacturer.
