I think the minimalization really helps with customization i havnt customized a tesla yet, but the pain of having alot of buttons and tech all over the place can be a nightmare for a person customizing their car teslas are super compact and you only need the screen, i think you can even hack the screen and make it windows lol

Those are MPG mandates, not EV mandates. Nobody is currently forced to buy EV's, but eventually it should be the case due to climate change issues.

@ Thank you! TMI But I was the biggest fan of Tesla and really excited about the CyberTruck. The CT really underwhelmed me compared to what I’d expected. On test driving it, I realised that it just wasn’t for me. I love a couple of things about it and dislike a lot about it. The Model X is lovely but the space it has might make it a squeeze for my family and dog with luggage. I’m warming up to the Rivian R1S tri motor as on driving it, it puts a smile on our collective faces. Besides, RJ seems like a responsible and decent man and I wish Rivian to be a success. Jussayin 😉

the gas cars have more range and faster to re-fuel, no range anxiety, even more so with diesel. And you can see the huge rims on those trucks don't try that on an EV you will have no range. And range not affected by temperature.

If you get a Tesla, you enter your trip destination on the build in gps, it will automatically calculate all the Tesla superchargers along your route and it automatically route you to the station along your trip. It is just that smart. It calculates if your battery can’t reach your destination, it navigates you to the super charger along the way to have you charge up first. Plus, Tesla station are all over the states.

EV’s are still in their infancy because battery technology has not yet become standardized nor has it yet evolved to the solid state technology which will provide the extended range, quick charging, and long life needed to become a preferable mobility technology.

The point is that as of now the current EV’s use independent versions of batteries. This makes replacement extremely expensive which cancels any savings realized by going electric. Battery standardization, like in golf carts, with easy replacement will facilitate greater broader acceptance of electric vehicle propulsion…

@@carholic-sz3qv what they said, if you get stranded, you can charge with a solar panel or a wind generator, even a gas generator, plus more efficiency, regeneration and efficiency improves the range a battery can get you Also it depends, you cant compare every semi to another semi without matching them up really well, its like saying an suv has a higher safety rating compared to a small coupe, evs are relatively new and especially semis, battery tech still needs to improve, but that doesnt mean we cant use them now also just like the safety rating example, different countries have different laws, the semi is designed for the US i think, which has a maximum limit of 80k pounds for ice and 82k pounds for evs, so your argument doesnt hold well here either

The stink and the noise is why we like em! Just ask any mechanic. I personally miss the smell of a saturday morning with premium burning in my GSX-R. I would certainly agree EVs are more efficient and have plenty of room for cost reduction & innovation, but when you talk of smell and sound as being the only reasons. Well, simply put we only have 5 senses and you just reduced two of them to the unnecessary category. Senses bring about emotions hence why an emotional attachment. But the Climate Change narrative is BS. Yes, climate changes, but no it's no cause for concern. Humans are 99.99999% wrong in most of their predictions just ask Al Gore.

I'm a Tesla owner from the day one of model 3. I am amazed at the tone deaf response of most of the owners given the unfulfilled lie that was sold to everyone that I know that owned from the jump of taxi self service, as well a self driving car for a 10k premium. Add that I bought a eqs from Mercedes and it provides the range that it says even with my heavy foot on the freeway. My Tesla cannot compete....quality is crap on the side by side.... Now Elon's antics and the silence of the company board. I will be never buy another Tesla anything. Good luck supporting a tone deaf company as well an investor that has raided the reserve of Tesla for his own wealth. Wake up people.... Or recognize people see you for who/what you are.
