SOS d'un terrien en détresse is a French song composed by Michel Berger and written by Luc Plamondon in 1978 for the rock opera Starmania. The song is composed in two and a half octaves to fully exploit Daniel Balavoine's rare 2.1/2 octave range. Although frankly I didn't like the latter's voice (rest his soul) which was too mewling for me. The song was covered during a reality show" singing competition the "star accadémie" by Grégory Lemarchal , very good cover, very good voice, who won the competition despite the muscoviscidosis which unfortunately killed him at 24 years old. Grégory went to sing in Kasakhstan where Dimash heard it and learned it phonetically. Dimash is sublimating it

I stumbled across this channel after listening to Dimash on other channels. What was so interesting was Barry's face changed in reaction to listening to Dimash. It was like as if an angel held their hands, cradling his face. Barry was touched, moved, he softened and genuinely was astounded, like so many others, who have listened to Dimish. This singer is in the same genius category as Mozart, De Vinci, Rembrandt, Strass.....all beautiful freaks of nature, that God sent to this world, to touch the heart of humanity. Many have wept. I went for another bloodtest that the cardiologist ordered ahead of my appointment next week, and the results on this test are all in the normal range!👍 The temperature outside now is 94°F (34°C) and feels like 103°F (39°C) with the humidity. I'm not going anywhere. Hope you are doing well. No need to reply... I'll probably go back to sleep. 🐶

If you have not heard it already, please react to Dimash singing The Story of One Sky. I have never heard vocals like this. Today my son sent me a short clip of Dimash singing part of SOS and I was so blown away I looked up more videos of him. As incredible as SOS was, I was absolutely astounded at what he does on The Story of One Sky,. He composed it. He has the best vocal control of any singer I have ever heard in my life, and I am a lifelong singer and listener.

It's amazing!!! This boy's voice is prodigious, ranging from bass to soprano, yesterday I saw a video of him where he gives the C higher than the piano, this song he sings is in French, he does not sing it in his mother tongue, I'm not a professional singer, but I studied music at the conservatory, I sing in a choir, my tessitura is alto and I can't stop listening to this boy, his voice "fell in love" and also made me cry. regards.

Dimash (dee-MAHSH) is already a world star. I was at his live solo sold-out concert in NYC last December. He is amazing live. His concerts are very dynamic, and his voice has gotten better and better since this performance from 3 yrs ago in China. The European part of his concert tour was interrupted by the pandemic, but has been rescheduled for Spring 2021.

Not just because they are new (many of them are not), but because Dimash is a singer who is offering new "reading" for songs and is famous for powerful and emotional interpretation of music that catch people off guard - surprising with every song. I've seen several videos of different versiones of this beautiful song "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" by Dimash, all of them are superb. This song was written almost 20 years before Dimash was born, but he definitely he made it his own... totally. Its authors Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon never knew for whom they would finally compose it because no one can take it away from this wonderful Kazakh man any more.

Честно мне, когда я впервые услышал как поёт Димаш Кудайберген... было как-то стыдно за слёзы которые я скрывал даже от себя. Но когда слёзы у профессионалов вокала...я просто успокоился и продолжаю наслаждаться исполнением. Димаш, ты ЧУДО!!!

Thank you for your honest reaction. Yes, Dimash can move people and his pure voice can go through your heart and reach into your soul. In this video from 2017, he was just 22 years old. He is now 29. More matured. His voice got even better, if you can believe that. This SOS was a French song written back in the late 70's, but no matter. Dimash sang it the best. He is music. He completely embodies it. So welcome to Dimash world. I have only discovered him 6 months ago and I became an instant Dear, and have to listen to him every single day. I have that "need" to hear his pure and angelic voice. I am 61 and grew up with all the pop music of the late 70s and 80s music that I loved, but no one and I mean NO ONE, gave me goosebumps and chills like Dimash. He also moves you and makes you cry and more. I would tell everyone I know about Dimash and help spread his name and his music. He is classically trained (heard that he is working on his PhD in musicology), so yeah, soon to be Dr. Dimash PhD, and he can sing everything and anything. He is also a very down to earth, gentle and kind person. Very humble and respectful to everyone. He loves his family and his country. He is very serious about his music/art. He can't be put in a box of a certain type or category of music. One may not understand his style of music, but one can't deny that he is the best at it. Thanks to the internet, he is getting known world wide now. I am glad that he is staying true to himself. Only love and respect for Dimash.
