I just bought a 2021 road kind special. It’s actually got a lot of features that you may not have been aware of. It has rain mode, hill assist that holds the front brakes for you, a few other things. And the issue with wide turns probably comes down to the handle bars and the bike being lowered. I love my special but I couldn’t do it with those tall ass handle bars.

Yeah good to blast around but even all day 6 to 8 hours I can’t ride one of them that long. I got the road king my rides went from 2 hours to 5 without being beat up! I just come off a lowrider s fun bike but could not ride more than 2 hours.

@@itsmeericb I got such a good deal on my lowrider trade in I could not pass it up! The dealer gave me 19.000 on my trade and 1000 off the new 22 road king special! If I had passed it up I would have never got those numbers again. It a was a mistake on there part!

Road my hayabusa like road bike for years till my knees and shoulder and ass said no more! Got a harley know. Slow A.F.... but it makes up n comfort. Got over the weight of it faster than I thought. Did 539 round trip day ride yesterday.

I bought the 2023 Road King Special, and yeah, it's an amazing motorcycle. Smoothest bike I've ever ridden. Did take a little bit to get used to the weight when riding slow, but not long. Think your turn issue is the apes on the bike. Enjoyed it.

I used to have one, but someone got rid of it for me. Ordered a replacement which I'll be taking delivery off in the spring. I absolutely love this bike. I won't say it's the best bike I've ever ridden (that'd be the KTM 1290 Adventure S, never though myself one for an adventure bike, but there you have it), but it's damn good. Love that sissybar. Gotta get me one of those.

I own this model and it's a gorgeous bike. The best in Harley Davidson's line up imo. I did see someone post something about leaking oil, but in all honesty I've owned 4 Harley Davidson's since 2001, and not one of them has leaked oil. Don't believe the haters? Anyway, this was a fair review. I subscribed

Thank you! I’ve only been on a couple of Harleys as I am a spirt bike fan boy. I don’t hate on Harleys, just not my style. They are some comfortable and good looking bikes! The guy that owns this bike went from sport bike to Harley. He loves them.

I've only ever owned Sportsbikes but I rode a mates Road king the other week and couldn't beleive how much fun it was compared to Sportsbikes on the road. So I want to get a Harley for the street and keep the Sportsbikes for track use. My question is why the Road King over say a Breakout or Fatboy which I prefer the look of? Why does the RK have a smaller rear tyre? Are the Fatboys/Breakouts better handling but not as good on freeways? Thanks

@@stevenspilly Yeah I actually sold my sport bike for a naked bike. As far why RK over a fat oh or sportster or anything like that, I’m not too sure. I don’t have enough experience with Harley are cruisers to really give you a good answer.

@@stevenspilly So Fatboy is a Softail and Road King is a touring bike. Softails have one hidden shock and the touring bikes have two shocks. Softails are quick in the twisties but not comfortable for long rides. The touring models are better on highway and for long trips.

Love the the look, 2020 all blacked out the handlebars nice 14" I have 20" Let me give you some good advice get a windshield it will cut down wind and protect you from bugs, rocks and shit falling off trucks, dirt, sand, etc... These bikes will turn wide if u don't counter steer . Counter steering is how you turn sharp on the big bikes.

4 or 5 speeds lol. Maybe early early 2000s.. or if you get a sportster, then it’s a 5 speed. And idk why Harley just doesn’t put a 6 speed in that.

Do you mean Sportster S? The road king is a beast and works well for longer rides and storage. The sported S is a fun bike for sure if you’d rather do more spirited and or shorter rides. Really all comes done to what you want to get out of the bike for your style of riding.

Thanks! It was a very nice bike! I shot with a Sony a7iii. FPS Cary from 30, 60 and 120. That particular B roll was shoot a 120 handheld because I left my Ronin at home.

That’s going to be hard bikes are so expensive right now. I just picked up a 2022 road king special with the RDS! And I can’t believe the deal I got on it. Was on a 21 lowrider s. I got 19.000 for the lowrider and they had the road king special priced wrong! No one will drop on bikes the dealers can’t get them in. So to get what I got for the price it’s crazy I didn’t know what I was missing with the touring family. 19.000 for a lowrider on a trade in only owed 12.000 on it been a week I still can not believe it.

I got my 2020 RKS week after your video. Just getting some hours on it. I thought it was me making wild turns lol. I have 19" ape bars. If I'm rolling in to turn it's little better. And I have it leaning lot. I'm still getting used to making those tight turns. Bars make it little harder to and weight with the bars. Nice bike and great video to. I got couple more days to enjoy it. Up here from N.Y.
