You said the shield does nothing, but that would be user error in the build used. If built for HP, she has the second best shield in the game. Making her a great shield bot option for teams while also providing interruption resistance. Especially nice in bloom teams (like with Nilou) as it blocks even more from dendro damage. But yes, when built for damage, it's decent (not amazing, but decent).
