I have about 50+ hours into the game and at first it was fun. I nearly completed every single location (which is absolutely a waste of time) and did every single side Quest. I had 45 Trophies and the last one was the "Butterfly" Quest. It took me nearly 4-5 hours to collect 20 of these tiny nice flying creatures. Just in the end pure torture

Worst pet of that trophy is most don’t even count for it. Running back and forth between one area over and over and over praying to RNGesus they’d spawn was a nightmare. And like you I foolishly gave the game a fair shot and explored (being punished by finding quest items early that you cannot interact with or pick up, or locked doors waiting for you to start a quest) and it just wasted my time more than anything. I’ve platinum’d a lot of lame or bad games, but I think this is one of my most hated ones because the open world is without exaggeration the worst I’ve ever played.

I love BioMutant. Love the art-style and lore, and runs pretty great on the Series X. I didn't "Platinum" it, though, or rush through it. Took my sweet time and took about a year to beat it, and got up to around 93% completion.

I didn’t rush. Took my time. It was awful. The game actively punishes you for exploring because it doesn’t allow you to grab quest items unless you’ve started the quest. Like any well designed game would (Immortals Fenyx Rising for example). I always give a game my full style of normal playthrough. This game just sucks so bad that is rather platinum Avengers again over this one.

Platinum'd the game 4 times, first one took 29 hours and the last one took 17 hours. Collecting the moths was faster the final time when I found a better spawn place (the oil lake next to Chuff Chuff).

I actually liked the game, not to plat but playing wise. I thought it looked great, especially with the free PS5 upgrade when I bought my copy a few months back. Controls are good, and the gameplay is pretty solid. It has a fun crafting mechanic and a morality system, which is not used very often. Now is the narrator annoying yes, but I think there are more positives than people give credit for. Good job though completing it though.

I think I'm starting to understand what this game received so much hate, I have been playing the game for the past few weeks exploring and the trophies comes naturally, except for the bug catching ones. If you rush the games and only focus on trophy hunting you ruin the experience for yourself in some cases. The game is very good, flawed but very good. (at least the PS5 version)

My first file glitched the tribe war after I beat the last tribe saying I still need to beat their stronghold. I’ve got no way to fix it since I beat all the other tribes. I could do everything else in the game but that glitch won’t go away. So I can never even complete my first playthrough.

got the platinum one the ps4 in 20 hours and on the ps5 in ~10 hours, if you know beforehand what you have to level and where to get the collectibles (and get the funkotron unique weapon that kills everything in seconds) its a quite manageble platinum

Out of curiosity, I checked the speedrun list. And what a surprise, there are only... 3 runs for this game in 'any %'. 2 on PC, and one on console, lol. It's kind of showing that if a community like speedrunners doesn't pick up a game to possibly get a very high chance to get a World Record in a category that almost no one plays than it shows something must be wrong indeed.

firstly I have to say the platinum takes 20-30 hours.. I done it in 9.. I made it worse for myself LOL. secondly, the game is just super underwhelming, great potential but a real let down. Its worth trying as it is free.. however dont do what I done when it comes to the plat. Combat is repetitive, story sucks, and the collectable trophies are just dumb, and unnecessarily awkward.

Wow if you think this is a bad grind, you got no hope with any new assassin creed or big open world game. Doesn't help you are Cramming it, always makes the grind worse. Only real issue with this is the missable boss trophies and the fishing or hunting trophies. Both of which you can use a save scum method.

Biomutant is the most bizarre and mixed game I've ever played. I actually like the world a lot, and how whacky things are. There's just...so many strange development choices in it that break the game's flow. It also crashes a lot on console and has really bad frame drops. The puzzles they add in are terrible. If they can be tried over and over again there's really no point in them even being there. There's a lot of other things I could go into about what I didn't like about this game, but I'll stop there. I do enjoy the exploration and (to some extent) the combat though, and the powers and weapons are pretty cool. Respect for the plat trophy on Biomutant though because I could never bring myself to do it. I don't think the game is worth that personally.

I've spend 49 hours in game. About 30 of which where enjoying to explore almost every nook amd cranny you can find and building insanely fun weapons. I liked the world eater fights and the Lupa Lupin Finale. The crafting and ability system offer so many ways to engage in combat it's actually crazy. These are the upsides. The downsides are the tedious and exhausting 20 hours of collectible nonsense and doing certain quests. It got repetitive very quickly and I almost lost it at the glittermoths. Plus, the ps4 disc version has such a downright bad performance, how is that even possible for a 11 gigabyte game? It crashed over 10 times, why has this not been fixed 3 years after launch? So yeah, that's how I feel about the game. Overall, many good ideas, great combat and crafting, exploring, artstyle. But grind is tiresome + performance is not acceptable. ❤

Even the "vehicles" are pretty sweet. They just flooded it with half baked ideas for sure and a very shallow story. If they got rid of some of the more useless mechanics and more into the good ones they have and story I think it could have been a great game.

Man you need to stop complaining try platinum on evil within or try plat dying light 2 and I mean in one go not separate different saves this is easy as pie it's just do quest and fight bosses in a certain way not evil within survive on akuma and finish the game in under 5 hours and do not upgrade through the whole game or dying light 2 and it nightrunner challenge because this achievement doesn't fucking trigger 🤣

Nah Dying Light 2 is easy, that game is awesome, even though I had several story related trophies not pop on my first couple of plays 😂😢 so I had to keep playing the story over and over, Dying light is tons of fun to play again and again… bio mutant is not Lol… however evil within I have never played
