My grandpa (father's side) was like that. My father was, shall we say, not in agreement with Grandpa in this area. Dad would make sure everyone used the bathroom before leaving, but if somebody had to go during a road trip, he would always stop.

I have found the best way to determine what the center of a chocolate is, is to stick a knife in on the bottom of the chocolate. When you pull it out, you can see what the filling is on the knife and if you don't like it, you can put it back and no one is the wiser. I have learned this from many See's candy chocolates.

Enjoyed the road trip with Daddio and Katie. Although I’ll admit I was also impatient at how long Katie was taking to fill the gas tank and the idea that the door of the car was left wide open. I’m guessing Daddio had his eyes on it but I’m hoping Katie learns to close it. Lots of crazies out there.

Ahhh. Santee is my stomping grounds. About 1/2 hour away. We love summers on the Santee/Wateree River. Fun fact you can take that river, thru an actual loch and down to Charleston. Also, South of the boarder is NC/SC boarder.

You definitely need to go to South of the Boarder on your way back. My family would go every time we drove to Florida. The gift shops are cool and you can go to the top of the hat and sign it. There is actually a lot to see there like a bunch of statue animals if they still have them. I definitely think it’s worth a trip if you have never been!

The normal were I live right now is probably 20-32degrees! And right now it’s 40 so it’s purity nice! Buts it been raining and snowy way to much!
