The number one thing!! WASH YOUR HANDS!! That’s one of the most important ways to prevent germs spreading. Coming in from school & going straight to a raw fruit bowl for the family is a big no no! Also .. I know he swims.. this stuff thrives in warm moist environment. . Wonder if he got it from the kid he babysat for.. usually it’s seen in very young children. Just a thought ☀️

Amanda Lee not the same.. as soon as a door knob is touched you wash your hands just prior to eating.but I won’t argue for sure just noting hand washing is the single most important step in preventing the spread of disease. Have a great day!

I’ve had impetigo before and it can get worse and spread very easily even with the ointment. I used the ointment for two weeks and it only got worse so I went to the oral medicine and it was gone within a week. I definitely recommend the pill. Good luck!

My sister had Imbetigo on her knee, it's really important Ryan dosnt scratch it as it spreads super fast, if he does scratch it then he needs to wash his hands straight after, also keep him away from communal foods, any shared towels etc as its really really contagious... Also watch his other arm + side of face as he has a couple of marks there, just keep an eye it's not spreading... Hope the cream works fast for you....... Feel better soon rye guy...

My brother wrestles and he gets impetigo every year. He got it in his nose and in his hair multiple times. I have also gotten it as well. When you get it once you are more prone to get it more

Love CFA. We eat there weekly with Baseball ⚾️ practice. Yes- boys and hair! My 17 year old lets his grow out over summer however when we go back to school, keep it short. It’s hard to cut my son’s hair as he has alopecia areata. Luckily his hair grew back after 3rd grade. He should not have hair by now! I let him choose in the summer whether to cut or not. I can’t fault him for not getting it cut. In third grade he had no hair -completely bald along with no eyelashes and eyebrows.

Awww I got impetigo when I was in 7th grade but it was around my mouth so people teased me that it was herpes. It was kind of embarrassing but I just told them to stay away from me or else I’d give it to them. It burned and itched but now I know how to take care of myself so it doesn’t come back. Once you get it, it will forever be in your blood stream and can come back at anytime. Just good self care will prevent it from coming back. I’m a freshman in college now and haven’t had it since but my mom gets it occasionally and my sister got it last year. It’s really not bad, just takes some diaper rash cream or prescribed ointment. Aveeno lotion also helps. I get small rashes occasionally but I never let it progress.
