Confused in NC. I can't find a Deeper Chirp Plus 2 even on Deeper's web site. Deeper even has a promoted link for "Deeper Chirp Plus 2" on Chrome that takes one to Deeper's web site but to a similar looking box as you display in the video but there is no "Plus", only "Chirp 2". I have a Deeper Chirp 2 in shipping from Amazon and now thinking I'm not getting the latest version. Amazon doesn't have a Deeper Chirp Plus 2 either. What gives??? Can we get this Plus version in the US yet? If so where can it be purchased? If not what country could I have someone buy one for me and ship it to the US? Thanks.

That's a tough one. They are both good devices. The software on the pro+2 is smoother to run and the battery life is better. The target separation on the chirp+ is better than the pro plus but it's up to you and what works better for your budget and what you want out of the device

It depends on the cone angle that you set the Deeper to search and the distance the deeper is from the bottom.

How do you read that map on the phone - when you see a fish in the center of the screen , does that mean it's directly below the deeper?

The bathemetric map is basically read by different colours means different depths. And the fish is within the cone under the Deeper but only in the moment while the Deeper is drawing the fish.

The reason for this is because the Deeper Chirp 2 is not available in all countries yet. So when the chirp 2 becomes available in the country, it will appear online

It might be that the Chirp 2 isn't available in your country yet. Some countries are a bit strict with cashable GPS sonar devices.

I don't think that the Deeper is like a speed boat transducer where you can steem on and pick up structure. So I think up to 10km/h it would be fine as long as it has a secure fixing and is pointing down throughout

It will do the mapping any time that it uses any GPS. So if it's in boat mode or onshore mode, it will make bathemetric maps automatically

Its not only for casting, You can use it also from the boat. Battery in new model is upgraded, size is the same... Its better to have additional battery time than not, for example if You go for a weekend You can make it without recharging. Silly question to be honest.

It's because the deepers are programmed to put any Arch as a fish but some objects read as an Arch but are not a fish. Rather learn how to read what the sonar is telling you and then you will know what is a fish or a rock or a log.

I always recommend the one with GPS otherwise you are limited to only getting maps when you are in boat mode and ie meaning when your phone is on the water with the deeper
