I feel like sometime during Addams you really came into your own and stepped into the grown ass woman you were becoming and this whole album production and promotion cycle is you showing off the confidence you’ve accumulated and I’m LIVING FOR IT.

I totally agree! Somewhere in amongst playing Wednesday, getting the chance to play a different, vibrant kickass part in which I got to flex and hone lots of skills within MT I'd never had the chance to before, meeting Oliver, my friendship with Scott skyrocketing to dizzying heights and learning that it's okay to take time for myself every now and then, I feel like something clicked in my brain and I suddenly embraced exactly who I am. And I LOVE that even just one person has noticed that. Thank you!

I love how the award has 'WA' on it for 'whats on stage awards', but you also won the award for Wednesday Addams... the award literally has the initials of the character you won it for on it purely coincidentally!! amazing! xxx

Your What’sOn award has the initials of WA, Wednesday Addams. If that doesn’t show it was meant to be then I’m not sure what other signs there could have been! Congrats! 😊

When I saw the Addams Family in Dublin (which was amazing, congrats on the award!ĺ) I went to stage door afterwards, yes I hoped to see you but I NEVER expected to see you and meet you or thought I was entitle or owed to meet you. I understood that's not your job, your job was to perform in the show which you did amazingly. It's so frustrating that you keep having to repeat this point because people just aren't listening!

Oh my gosh! I have dyslexia and I struggle to read for long periods of time and I am so (what’s the best word) thrilled that you you thought to do an audio reading of your blog. Now I have no reason not to “read” it. Ps still anxiously waiting for the audiobook of All that she can see... I know it’ll be worth waiting for it to be done by you and completely understandable that you haven’t found the time.

I think it is great that you are so honest about this. I think for a lot of us who are on the “fan” and “follower” side we don’t recognize the overwhelming nature of our adoration. It’s like a reverse funnel, we only see our little contributions to the massive out pouring on the other side. Social media is a fascinating phenomenon and I hope you continue to educate about and explore this, it may help some people realize how to interact in a healthy way with you and others in similar positions.

Loving the new background! Also just wanted to let you know I started All That She Can See this week and I immediately loved it, it's so, so good and so unique and fresh, the plot and characters are amazing but the writing is just beautiful and flows so well, you've come on leaps and bounds since On The Other Side (Not that that wasn't a great book too, it absolutely was, and you were a fantastic writer then too, you've just improved so much!) I'm so looking forward to When The Curtain Falls, absolutely love your books, you've quickly become a favorite author of mine!

I read your blog post today and as a huge theatre fan I used to go to stage door a fair bit. I am now the same age as you and the appeal of stage door has somewhat waned. When I was younger stage door was never crazy busy, just a few people appreciating the actors whereas now they are generally similar to a crowd at a concert and I can't imagine how overwhelming it must be for performers. I think as well I am less enamoured by the idea of celebrities as they really are just regular people, unless someone has truly achieved something amazing or are particularly talented meeting them no longer appeals. I hope that one day soon the rude and scary people at stage door start respecting people more to make it more enjoyable for you and the other people who visit stage door.

You should see what the stage door is like at Hamilton, Carrie. Pop by the Victoria palace around 10:30 any evening and you’ll see the hugest line of people going down Victoria street. It’s extreme and bizarre. I’d imagine / hope they’ve bought in barriers and security by now to help the cast.

I'm not even a stage actor but I get SO NERVOUS at Stage Door! It can get very crowed and loud and people shove and push you! I went to see Les Mis 3 years ago and I kid you not someone was pushing their way through the crowd and shoved me into Rob Houchen (who was lovely and didn't mind that I almost fell on him! 😂) so yeah, I completely understand your anxieties Carrie! Also congrats to you and the Addams Family for winning! 💜💜💜💜

new to vlog will eventually go earliest but what does "Dear Tom&Gi " mean? prob something I should know-so forgive-:)-bedroom works for me if your happy with it-:) Going over to your blog now sounds like a great topic. I will say as to having been bothcoming from stage door and waiting for someone at stage door. I met Topol when I was very young-and he showed me the fiddler stage-and made such an amazing experience. Then seeing how a musical or play can make an impression on an audience and makes them happy to meet you-is such a nice experience of the theatre. I feel bad for those audiences who are just weird and have no concept of personal space-it ruins others experiences. Well done Carrie!
