I literally get bored and fed up with the game after getting the first stone for the atlas. It's not that I cannot go further, it's just that I don't see the point. Nothing of interest or value drops and everything of interest is at least 200+ chaos or 200+ hours of farming specific maps...Yawn. Campaign done, league done. Next.

Unfortunately , with the new currencies that modify the flasks , some of them are more powerful than before / bring better utility and auto cast in specific moments. I think similarly but going to try it out and see how the changes actually work before deciding if I need more free time :) We've had so many announcements which sound like they are removing all fun from the game but the actual changes are less harsh than they were telling us they where. Realistically, if you're doing 40% less damage it'd take you 66% longer to kill something than it did before, because math. Of course, that ignores the compounding factors like it also taking 66% longer to get loot and xp that give you damage to begin with, so....

To be fair, the only thing this means is that the "requirement" for six-linking before your build is on par is lessened, since the goal is to make the pure damage scaling supports less obvious best in slot. Basically you'll end up with being fine with a 5-link, since the sixth link would end up being a non-damaging support anyway. It just strikes me as a plus instead of a minus for the casual player, with room to min-max for those who want.

Boy I can't wait to play a Summon Rectangle build that does no damage while drinking flasks that have been completely watered down while dying to act 1 mobs that I didn't even remember existed because they used to take 2 hits to kill before I even got a 2-link. Diablo 2 was balanced around hackers needing 100s of Stones of Jordan to fight the final boss. Path of Exile seems to be balanced around to top 1% of the top 1% of players. I as the top 17% of players feel I must quit the game at this point.

Honestly my body is ready, I'm not near build creater lvl and always copy ppl idea but nerfing isn't bad if it affect everybody. If you visit poeninja you can see that top players melts everything within 2 or 3 days of the new league anyway. BRING MORE NERFS TO EVERYTHING because i like when this game gets harder. Now if you have experience of like 2 or 3 already played leagues you end up being bored within first 1 or 2 weeks anyway

I left PoE 2 weeks ago. Now I know I made the right decision. While I know that FFXIV is a totally different genre of game, I think I'll feel better knowing that I'm dying because of my lack of skill rather than my inability to comprehend a confusing spreadsheet, my inability to see the lightning mines behind my spectre's skill effects, or my inability to obtain OP gear. Plus, there's been little added to the lore since Sirus, and I actually like ingame lore.
