Tip nr 6. New player here. Lvl 20atm but got litterly 2 skills slotted. So no problems there xd skill 1 nuke. Skill 2 blow up death body totem 30hour play time rerolled so manny times xD. Wanted a pet build. Atm ended up with totem pet templar explode build

Step 1 is fine, but not totally accurate. Because it's just not a necessary step at all. I have never in my life followed a net-build. Much less copy it directly fully. It's perfectly fine to do so, and can be helpful to learn. But not a requirement or that important. Many of those are from users who never followed a net-build themselves before making guides.

step 1: get all resistances to 90%, get 10k life get 100mil dps. done! your build works ! copying gems and skill tree is easy, its 100% of the time the lack of gear and how to get it, especially if you play ssf and dont have all those orbs to craft special items that make your build work.

Yoji's dead

Started POE 3 days ago, playing a Witch without any build guide (I do not want one for the campaign, even if it means having to restart later on). For that reason, I am not playing into the league. Had no issue in all of the quests and dungeons at all, reached level 40, tried Izario and die twice in a row. I guess even if my DPS was enough for the rest, against Izaro I just get flooded with summons (mecanics was the portals, followed by the gargoyles). Clearly I'll need to pick these items the next time and hopefuly try to get a bit more DPS before I try again :)

I can't blame people for having low quality gems when the orbs never fucking drop.

Yeah but Acquisitionis down now how to trade??? i dont want to buy premium stash tab because imo price items end Trade should be in every game yeah it is in poe BUT there are not a single Ingame Market to buy things from that players have listed

I don’t understand, if I’m trying to make a build and this video is supposed to help me, why are you telling me to follow a build guide, that’s exactly what I’m trying not to do, I want tips like, how much offense/defense should I have etc.

Yep, seems to be a stat check, not a skill check. The longer you avoid the mines, the more he puts down, and they have a large activation radius. It takes very little time before the mines become unavoidable. They do not expire and cannot be destroyed. Plus, his ethereal knives fan out with such a wide angle that it's often not possible to dodge them without having a lot of movement speed bonus or using a movement skill--unless you're very close to him, which might be dangerous ground. The normal version of the fight (as cruel and merciless don't exist anymore) doesn't have the corpses but he now has a new ability in which he casts a large rune on the ground which explodes after about 2-3 seconds and deals heavy damage to quite a large area. The time is easily long enough to step out of the explosion, but you often do not have the luxury of choosing a path out which does not put you into contact with mines or ethereal knives. Since there are no adds to kill during the fight, you basically have to hope your flask charges last long enough. This is a very disappointing fight. It feels like every ounce of skill has been robbed from the player. It may as well just roll a die based on your current attributes and decide if you win or lose.

That was my first expansion, and now 7 years later we are discussing shape shifting, atlas wide passive trees (btw. not even the atlas itself was a thing back then), what campaign will be faster (the new 7 or the "old" 10 act one), what pantheons we should use because we can drain defensive powers from gods etc. This game got such a long way already and I love beeing a part of it even though I have way less time on my hand now

Sounds like Tempest to Prophecy league was the best PoE leagues and then things started to get too mindless because things were mostly figured out and the pace sped up too much

Quality on gems is not that important at all, except you get some real useful stuff. But only increased damage will not cause your char to beat T12 if you hit a wall there

Good video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm playing cold DoT elementalist this Crucible league. Don't know almost anything about the game, just reached tier 15 maps but I'm dying so much. Can't even level up (I'm lvl 91) cuz any pack of mobs in the map can just one shot me if i make a mistake. But i didn't know about the pantheon, I'll go after it, perhaps it's what it needs to build to stop fkin dying every 3 minutes damn

Wolfio is a pretty well rounded PoE player / Streamer , but there is something to be said about the time we are willing to invest into farming currency to upgrade our builds and min-max their mechanics , versus how motivated we are to explore and meta-craft new builds. Once again , it's a matter of finding a balance between those two poles.
