Had a case myself Jon just yesterday of a network being slow, dozens of calls came though to the service desk My senior colleagues had to do a reboot of all the servers in the server room, so lost access to my ticket system for an hour so had to make text file notes till it came back up, pleased to share though since the reboot of the servers all was back to a normal working environment at normal network speed

Very insightful Jon as ever Have had many of my customers complain about slow networks during my career so far, have worked in partnerships with suppliers to get them resolved, sometimes a bit annoying as the supplier takes forever to respond and raises on their help desk software as an incorrect priority. My example is I had a customer network was down once I raised it as a P1 to the supplier and then they changed it to a P3 as such this held up the case getting resolved quickly and me speaking to the supplier to get someone to sort things out as it was impacting the customers service, they could not even login to their client workstations Get your point about the users getting frustrated totally. 😀👍
