JT, George Benson is one the "few" musician/artist to (be successful) in "TWO" different genres of music. We can hear with this song and others, that he had "R&B" success. But, did you know that before the (R&B)hit, George Benson had a "Traditional Jazz" career, and had become one of the greatest Jazz Guitarists EVER!.....Generations of guitarists would study his playing! Simply put, "George Benson is a Living Legend!" 🎸

I first remember his song "Breezin'". Then I really became a George Benson fan after listening to his cover of the "On Broadway" song!

@@dancefloor9032 Thank you, glad to see another Benson fan! As a kid, a friend wanted me to listen to a recording of a 24 year old George Benson. It didn't take long before my jaw was on the floor! From that point on, Benson had become my Jazz guitar hero! There are many "greats", but Benson has remained my "all-time favorite"!...Greetings from U.S.!

You are so young...but you a old hade through & through! 😊 I love your channel. This was the time when everyone would just show up @ my grandparents house. Never planned. Then people would say "y'all want some crabs"? Oh $hit. Next thing you know the music's on & somebody brings a bushel of live crabs & our uncles & cousins would throw em @ us & running around the kitchen or in the background screaming. My crazy a$$ uncle would go into his bedroom. When he put on Parliament we KNEW what that $hit meant. We'd run to his bedroom. It was pitch dark, but he'd put the d@mn strobe light on. OMG!! Wow lil mama. Thx for this. That was my childhood. Great memories This song is 1 of many.
