This has been my fav song since 1975 and listened to it over 1k times. You’ve done a sweet job on your critic and I enjoyed that. Wanted to make you aware that your audio input of this original studio LB was missing the right or left stereo channel; so the song played as if one of your ear buds had fallen out. So several instrument tracks did not make it on your output while the keyboard and backing vocals stood out more.

@48nature3 жыл бұрын
@@dwightherron2838 Hi Dwight. Google searches lead to a lot of misinformation and revisionist history put out by marketing people and spread around the internet. The truth is that the Airplane was overwith by 1972. Solo albums/careers were tried by Kantner and Slick and did not sell well enough for RCA and the record company was going to drop them so a NEW band was formed with some of the musicians having performed with Kantner and Slick in Airplane, but also on various other projects. The lead guitarist/songwriter, Craig Chaquico, and bass player/keyboardist/songwriter, Pete Sears, hadn't been in Airplane but had played on solo albums (Chaquico on three and Sears on one) but hadn't been in Airplane. Connecting them in the fans minds was marketing but they were different/separate bands. Jefferson Starship was the name taken from the cover of one of Kantner's solo albums from four years earlier when he was still in Airplane, but Slick and Kantner had originally even wanted to give the new band an entirely different name. Airplane did not change its name.
