I just got this moisturizer and I have combination skin. I like it but I honestly thought it was going to be a bit heavier. It’s good but left me wanting more. I love Beta Glucan and I agree that it would be a great replacement for Hyaluronic Acid. Specifically because some people don’t understand how to use hylarounic acid correctly. It would eliminate some of guess work. Thank you for the video!!!

Would love a video comparing the different moisturizers! This one has been a fave of mine for a while- although I found myself getting kind of bored of it after a while and moved on to something else. But then with the recent weather change I started using it again and remembered how much I love it. It’s light but so good in the cold weather for oily or combo people ❤️

Hi Sarah I haven't tried this one (although I liked their beta glucan power serum), as although it's supposedly for dry skin it suffers from being for dry skin in humid weather tbh. A gel/cream is never going to be any use for my very dry skin, except in the small amount of humid weather in a Scottish Summer ie a few weeks. This is the reason very few Korean moisturisers work for me. i do love the toners, essences and serums from many K beauty brands, but the moisturisers are rarely enough to cope with Scottish weather and dry skin lol. Iunik uses a lot of "extracts" from botanicals and that can be very problematic on my ultra sensitive, rosacea and eczema prone skin - their snail serum gave me a HUGE irritation/reaction for example, even from a patch test and had to be given away. I've used a lot of other snail products with no problems, so it was probably some of those "extracts" it was had so many of that caused the reaction - had to be washed off within a couple of minutes. It has put me off trying some of their other products tbh, as it was one of the most fierce reactions to a product I have had and took days to heal up. I'm glad it does suit you and many others though. Best wishes.

I have been using the Beta Glucan serum by iUNIK and that though I like it but it does have a slight unpleasant scent so maybe that is why they added that fragrance in the moisturizer. I do find it slightly sticky afterwards but does do a good job soothing and moisturizing esp any dry patches. I don’t think the serum contain HA (I hope since every other product seems to contain that).

I'm enjoying the Iunik beta glucan serum. My skin gets so dry in the cooler weather. HA just doesn't do it for me.

I wish you would mention the fact that it contains SILICONE. (Cyclopentasiloxane) because it changes the all review for some of us, like me. for combo/oily sensitive skin-even tho it suppose to be a light moisturizer, because of the silicone it would takes AGES to absorb and you would end up with a film on your face. sensitive skin - stay away!

I really like Iunik's Beta-Glucan Power Moisture serum added into my toners and moisturizers. I still haven't figured out a great option for sunscreen over my dry, sensitive skin since I'm allergic to zinc or titanium dioxide. I tried the suggestion on this channel for Goop Unseen sunscreen which works great in not irritating my skin most days. But it is too drying. Any suggestions for a hydrating sunscreen for sensitive skin? Thanks so much!

Look into chemical sunscreens from Korea, Japan, and the UK. Chemical sunscreens in the US aren't up to par since the newer, more gentle, more protective chemical filters haven't been approved by the FDA. I suggest Watchung Kelly Driscoll's channel for hydrating sunscreens that work for sensitive skin. You'd probably like the newly released (and verified) Korean ones like the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel, Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream, Hyggee Vegan Sun Cream, etc.

Oh, and I tried the isntree one mentioned above and thought it was a little dry for my liking. I also love Kelly Driscoll KZbin channel! She also has dry and sensitive skin so a lot of her recommendations work well for me. I think she also likes verdio which are pretty hydrating, but I found them a little too shiny for my liking.

Also I recommend illiyoon if you haven't tried them. They have nice options for sensitive skin, including their ato ceramide cream and they have sunscreens too. I've found most of the Japanese sunscreens too drying and irritating for my skin because of the high alcohol. It helps a ton with the texture but my skin can't handle it. Also I love Avene xeracalm ad cream for dry skin in the winter! They also have really nice high protection SPF with great uva and uvb protection that I think is chemical only and mineral free. But their good sunscreen is only in Europe and the UK

I can tell you that a lot of what you see is garbage but there are a few on the market that actually work as claimed and you’ll know because they’re required to add goggles to protect the eye. The light is strong and damaging to our eyesight! Light-stem brand is one that’s effective but I don’t think Sarah is particularly interested

I wouldn't recommend this cream, it had a very silicone feeling to it which I didn't like at all and because of that I felt like it was just sitting on the skin, clogging my pores. It wasn't moisturizing enough for the night and too heavy for the day.

I’m so sick of seeing Niacinamide in all Korean skincare I’m allergic to it and I cannot use it I just wish these companies would think about the population that are allergic to Niacinamide and create products w/o it….

I'm so sorry to hear that! It's in almost everything! My oily, acne-prone skin loves Niacinamide so I always want products with it, but I wish companies would provide other options for people who are sensitive to it.
