kamal meanwhile listening to amit ji speak abt tech and ideas : This ignorant guy has not seen my movies for atleast past 25 years. As an viewer , felt funny that amit sir talking in awe of mix of technology, ideas, mythology in modern cinemas(or call it futuristic cinema) . Kamal has done it decades back. KAMAL HAASAN is way ahead in terms of craft. KAMAL is a fucking legend. BIG ASS PRODUCERS give him some cash box, kamal will take you to future as we have a mature and modern audience who i believe understand him now.

Amithabh has done prosthetics in Paa, of course he knows about these technologies, he knows about Kamal's works. What he did in this interview was praising his director and other technicians, that's what elders do, appreciate and encourage these visionary youngsters.... It is important we don't put down one Legend trying to uplift another. Both Kamal and Amithabh's contribution to Indian cinema is admirable.

@@dh1vya with respect to encouraging young guns… yeah I agree, but also acknowledging the doings of somebody who’d done it way ahead of time in Indian cinema would have made sense(I repeat acknowledging it and not praise or encouragement ). Also mentioning the project and the associated as the frontrunner in terms blend of idea and new tech is total bollocks . There are lot many movies that has good mix of Hindu myth with current day happenings . No disrespect to Amit ji, it’s just that I found his projection ignorant of past achievements. That’s what put many off ….as ppl watched it through out !!
