Considering upgrading my 4060 8gb to a 4070 Super, possibly Ti, and my Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. My 16gb DDR4 setup has served me very well for high to ultra 1080p to DLSS 1440p 60fps and above gaming. But Wukong and Space Marine 2 have shown me I dont have long left on my current rig. I am Interested to hear peoples opinions, should I do the upgrade and max out my currrent AM4 platform for a good 3 or more years, or wait to see what the 50 series is saying and upgrade my entire system to AM5 in a year or so.

The upgrade will be well enough, however considering you already have a setup, just upgrade your gpu, with a rtx 5080 you will have well enough for the price, dont worry about the bottleneck, in 4k high settings is not as relevant as they want to show, enjoy your current setup

@@finalparadigm331 yeah unfortunately the shipment was delayed and I don't have the card yet (I bought the 4070super in back in April and my dad included it in a cargo package which was sent from US back in June I think but we got a notification that the port in S.Korea was full and our cargo which included the gpu was not gonna leave the port until August 15) In the meantime, I just replaced my 8years old Fractal bronze 750w psu with a new coolermaster sfx 850w atx 3.0 gold in preparation for the 4070s

I’m still enjoying my 4070 Super playing games on a 4K monitor. I’m wouldn’t trade it for the 3090. The 3090 consumes much more power which means more heat output. And it doesn’t have frame generation, like all other RTX 30 cards.

It'll probably get higher when weather gets hotter. But the VENTUS 2X has been good so far. Not as quiet as 3X. It's a decent card. I like it.

I only have experience with my one and only MSI Gaming X Slim RTX 4070 Ti Super and it doesn't go above 63 degC playing Halo Infinite. Seems like MSI does their cooling right. The only thing I don't like about MSI is that you have to download their intrusive software - MSI Center - just to turn off the RGB on the card. Fortunately, the RGB is minimal and I'll deal with that rather than have the intrusive software on my PC.

I assume that memory capacity is important to you. 16GB 4070 Ti SUPER sounds like a good choice if you're buying new. Also, you might want to look into the 24GB RTX 3090. I don't have any experience with 3D work so can't give you a good advice.

@@jokur7 Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden west. All are 60 fps and above. DLSS Quality you'll get more. The DLSS is very good on the Rtx 40 series you won't see a difference

@@jokur7 cyberpunk has notoriously bad optimization, that being said, you should edit your settings you can still play at 4k with incredible fidelity, you just may not be able to max everything out... which doesn't matter because I promise if you take your time to optimize your settings you will hardly notice a difference. Don't forget you can also set your framerate.... I find for games like cyberpunk which are heavy in gpu utilization, capping around 40fps-45fps is perfectly fine especially since its not a competitive multiplayer game, if you use a controller you wont even notice any input lag. play with your settings ingame, and also your nvidia settings

I didn't have any holder with my Ventus 3X. To me it's feels fine without additional support because the card is not that heavy. I haven't seen any bending or GPU sagging. Also, if you don't like big brackets then you can get another types of GPU support that are much more compact. Just search for "GPU support" on a large online retailer of your choice.

Why not go for Ryzen 5 7600 or 7600X with 4070 Ti? You can upgrade your CPU and GPU easily next time. AMD's AM5 motherboards will support new CPUs until 2027+ The 7600X is a good CPU. You can check my other recent videos. I always use the 7600X. I don't feel confident in Intel right now since all the instability and 13th+14th Gen CPU failures came to light recently. Furthermore, you can't upgrade the CPU in the future if you go with the 13600K because that platform is finished. Intel's next generation will use a new socket, new motherboards.

Honestly bro, you should upgrade to a 4080 or 4070Ti Super, the the 60 series are notoriously cheap, but also notoriously bad cards, even back when the 1060s were out... and the 1070's and above were amazing cars even holding their value today (i have a 1070 personally, its finally showing its age after 8 years) but I digress.... I suggest upgrading and forgetting about your 4060

The VENTUS 2X you see in this video doesn't have any RGB LEDs. But if you are asking about another MSI graphics card that does have RGB then the answer is yes. The GPU will appear in Mystic Light software where you can customise the lighting.

i just got money for 4070. I have options from zotac trinity and gigabyte gaming oc. Which one would u recommend . OR should i go for 4070 super. I am a beginner for gaming. I'm not sure about Gigabyte vs Zotac model as I haven't had a chance to experience any of them. But your PC build looks good to me👍 The RTX 4070 is very powerful for 1080p. Normally people buy it to play games at 1440p. Also, if you want to do creative work then I recommend getting a higher resolution monitor. Upgrading from 27-inch 1080p to 27-inch 1440p was a good experience for me. Now I've upgraded to the 32-inch 4K 144Hz MSI G321CU. It's even more pleasant to work and play on such a big and clear screen. I'm using the 4070 SUPER to play the latest games at 4K now. I'm actually working on a video about it now. To showcase that you don't need a super expensive GPU like 4080 SUPER or 4090 to enjoy games at 4K. The video should be ready the day after tomorrow. What I'm saying is - if you choose the RTX 4070 Super, you'll be well-equipped to handle even a 4K monitor.

Get the Zotac. Gigabyte cards run hot. Had one of their RTX 3060 cards and it would thermal throttle running Heaven benchmark in stock settings. I have the Zotac RTX 4070 Twin Fan SFF card in my SFF build and it runs cool and fast paired with a Ryzen9 5900X on a 120mm AIO, and 64GB RAM
