I met him @ a Best Buy in Valencia CA. One of the nicest beings to meet..RIP....and YES he deserves to be in the HALL OF FAME..........!!!!

The Russians in the NWA is when I was getting huge into wrestling ! I watched a bit since 84 but by 86 i was a diehard 8 year old fan . And it is stuff like this that did it . While my friends at school only watched WWF . They didn't know what they were missing !! Ivan Koloff is a true legend and one of the best heels ever in wrestling !

i met ivan many times thru out the yrs, him and i were on first name basis, he would come to my town 2 or 3 times a year to promote his wrestling school ...... he was just a good person and legit badass that did sooo much for the sport, he is well over due to take his spot in the hall of fame!!!! R.I.P Uncle Ivan.

Ivan became a ordained minister and pastored a church near Greenville NC where he lived nearby. Ivan often would meet and great people in Walmarts telling them about the Lord Jesus Christ Salvation as well as hold revival services at churches throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Ivan interestingly enough was led to Jesus Christ Salvation by Nikita Koloff who is also a Christian Minister.
